Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it is the result of the extensive development work done in the last eight years under the leadership and inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that today Ghaziabad has emerged with a changed identity. He said that Ghaziabad has now become an example of development, cleanliness and orderliness, and has been recognised as one of the 50 cleanest cities of the country and the first clean city of Uttar Pradesh.
The Chief Minister said this while addressing the media at Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. On the occasion, he presented a greeting kit to the first batch leaving for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and said that on their return, each passenger would be given an assistance of Rs.
He informed that more than 200 pilgrims are now visiting the Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan built for the convenience of the passengers. At the same time, he directed that a proposal should be prepared so that the general public can also take advantage of Uttarakhand Bhawan and Purvanchal Bhawan along with this building.
Chief Minister Yogi along with Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh laid the foundation stone of a Green Data Centre in Ghaziabad and participated in the golden jubilee celebrations of Central Electronics Limited (CEL). He informed that loss making CEL has now become a profit making Miniratna PSU.
He also held a review meeting with public representatives on the development of Ghaziabad, in which many new schemes were discussed. The Chief Minister informed that a detailed plan is being prepared to include Khoda, Loni and Muradnagar in the Municipal Corporation towards the construction of Greater Ghaziabad.
He said that Ghaziabad is now connected with modern facilities like Metro, Airport and Rapid Rail, which was once unimaginable. He also informed about the development projects like Integrated Office Complex, Police Commissioner’s Office and Baba Dugdheshwarnath Temple Corridor.
The Chief Minister informed that the green cover of Ghaziabad has increased and innovative green projects like Miyawaki and City Forest have been set up in the city. He also spoke of reviving the Hindon river and giving priority to coastal plantation.
Launching the new digital portal of Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) ‘Public Access for Housing and Property Allotment Login’, he said that this portal is an integrated, transparent and fully digital system, which will provide services related to allotment letter, certificate, renaming and loan on a single platform.
Cabinet Minister Shri Sunil Kumar Sharma, Minister of State Shri Narendra Kumar Kashyap and other public representatives and officials were present on the occasion. In the end, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that the overall development of the entire state, including Ghaziabad, will continue with the efforts of the double engine government.
