President of the Lok Janshakti Party Chirag Paswan responded to the alleged viral video on Thursday that appeared to show insulting remarks being made about his mother during an RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav rally in Bihar. Speaking to ANI news agency, the leader of the LJP said he was upset by the incident. “It hurts that my younger brother was the one to abuse my family and me in front of him. It has been often said of me that, even though I am in the NDA, I am soft on Lalu Yadav and his family. Although there are certain family customs that date back to my father’s day, I shall be directly competing with them in politics. stated Chirag Paswan.
I have this kind of relationship with that family since my father and Lalu Yadav are still close friends. I have consistently maintained those relationships’ dignity. Although I disagreed with them ideologically, I never brought it up with the family.It saddens me that my younger brother was on stage when my family was being mistreated. Rabri Devi is my mother in my eyes. If someone had used such language for her or my sisters, Misa Bharti and Rohini Acharya, I would have responded appropriately,” the leader of the Lok Janshakti Party continued.

Regarding the widely shared video, the RJD came under fire from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Shahnawaz Hussain, a BJP spokesperson, claimed that the RJD is angry because “they are losing the election.” “They’re mistreating people now. The mother of Chirag Paswan was abused by RJD members in front of Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders. No one came to a stop. In Bihar, it has never occurred. It’s not acceptable,” he declared.
