Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched a sharp attack on the BJP during his ongoing Shukrana Yatra, alleging that the party and other communal forces were attempting to create divisions in Punjab for political gains.

Mann said the law was introduced based on public demand and aims to protect religious sentiments while ensuring peace and harmony in Punjab.
