CM Bhagwant Singh Mann Conducts Surprise Inspections at Cheema Sub-Tehsil, Hospital, and Sardulgarh Tehsil Complex
Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday carried out an unannounced inspection of the newly constructed Sub-Tehsil Complex and Hospital in Cheema (Sangrur) and the Tehsil Complex in Sardulgarh (Mansa) to assess the delivery of citizen-centric services at the grassroots level.
During his visit to the Sub-Tehsil Complex, the CM interacted with the public, who appreciated his government’s efforts in ensuring efficient and transparent service delivery. He emphasized the importance of direct public feedback in improving governance and assured that his visit aimed at enhancing efficiency rather than finding faults in government operations. He highlighted that it was unprecedented for a sitting Chief Minister to personally inspect government offices, reaffirming his commitment to streamlining public services.
Ensuring Smooth Governance & Public Welfare
CM Bhagwant Singh stressed that must perform their duties with honesty and diligence to prevent inconvenience to the public. The state government prioritizes prompt resolution of administrative tasks, ensuring hassle-free services for citizens.
Additionally, the Chief Minister reviewed preparations for the upcoming mela in memory of Sant Baba Attar Singh, directing officials to make comprehensive arrangements for the large number of expected pilgrims. He assured personal supervision of the arrangements to ensure a seamless event.
Healthcare Development in Cheema
CM Bhagwant Singh Mann also inspected the progress of the under-construction 20-bedded hospital, envisioning it as a key healthcare facility for the region. He announced that the hospital’s construction would be completed by June 30, after which it would be dedicated to the public.
Comprehensive Development Efforts in Sardulgarh
At Sardulgarh Tehsil Complex, CM Bhagwant Singh reiterated his government’s commitment to Punjab’s holistic development. He highlighted major investments in healthcare, education, power, employment, and infrastructure, ensuring a progressive transformation of the state.
CM Bhagwant Singh pointed out that under his leadership, Punjab’s schools are being upgraded, roads are being developed, and government jobs are being provided to the youth. He criticized previous administrations for neglecting these crucial sectors, which led to Punjab lagging in development. However, he asserted that his government is actively working towards building “Rangla Punjab” with the full participation of the people.
Improving Tehsil Services & Digital Connectivity
Interacting with the public, CM Bhagwant Singh announced that a regular Tehsildar would soon be appointed at the Sardulgarh Tehsil Complex. Additionally, he ordered the installation of high-speed internet to improve efficiency and expedite administrative work.
Support for Deported Punjabis
Addressing concerns regarding Punjabis deported from the USA, CM Mann assured that the state government stands firmly with them. He pledged support for their rehabilitation, enabling them to contribute to Punjab’s socio-economic development. To assist in this, the government has engaged successful entrepreneurs who overcame similar challenges to mentor and guide the deportees in rebuilding their lives in Punjab.
