CM Bhagwant Singh Mann: Extend best wishes to the team for upcoming matches
Hailing the spectacular victory of Indian hockey squad over England, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday said that playing with 10 players Indian team defeated the England contingent in penalty shoot out.
Congratulating the team, the Chief Minister extended good wishes to them for the upcoming matches. He said that the Indian players had exhibited remarkable game during the match especially in shoot out thereby leading the team to semi finals of Paris Olympics. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is a moment of pride and satisfaction for every countrymen as the players have steered the team to this historic victory.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the Hockey team will script a new success story by bagging Gold medal for the country in the Paris Olympics. Bhagwant Singh Mann reiterated that the entire country is eagerly waiting for this historic moment when the pristine glory of national game is on threshold of being restored. He said that the entire country is eagerly waiting to give a rousing reception to the heroes of Indian Hockey squad when they return home with medal.
