CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that our government is implementing development works in every assembly constituency of the state at a fast pace. In both the budgets of the state government, adequate budget has been allocated for 200 assembly constituencies, due to which the state is moving fast on the path of development. He said that we will take every possible step for the welfare of the people of the state so that the resolution of developed India-developed Rajasthan 2047 can be realized.
CM Bhajan Sharma was addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of various development works held at Kekri in Ajmer on Tuesday. He said that good rainfall in the holy month of Sawan is an auspicious sign of bringing wealth, prosperity and happiness in the state. We launched Hariyalo Rajasthan on Hariyali Teej last year, taking inspiration from the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Ek Vridh Maa Ke Naam campaign, and last year we planted 7.5 crore saplings. Now a target has been set to plant 10 crore saplings in the state this year. He said that this time on the day of Hariyali Teej also we are going to do intensive plantation. We are working with a target of planting 50 crore saplings in the state in 5 years. He called upon the people of the state to play their role in environmental protection by planting at least one tree under this campaign.
The work of our one and a half years is more than the entire tenure of the previous government.
CM Bhajan said that we have done unprecedented work for the development of the state in just one and a half years, which is more than the entire five years of the previous government. He said that in one and a half years, our government has given subsidy to farmers for fencing more than 253 lakh meters and constructed more than 32 thousand farm ponds. Whereas the previous Government during its entire tenure gave grants for only 113 lakh metres of fencing and constructed only 29 thousand pounds. He said that in the last one and a half years, 55 veterinary hospitals have been upgraded to first class veterinary hospitals. At the same time, the previous government upgraded only 48 during its entire tenure. He said that during our tenure, the power generation capacity was increased by 4,270 MW, while during the entire tenure of the previous government, only 3,948 MW was increased. In addition, 4,598 CCTV cameras were installed in public places during our tenure, while the previous government installed 2,813 CCTV cameras in five years.
2.5 crore people participated in Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan – Jan Abhiyan, 42 thousand water sources were cleaned –
CM Bhajan said that with the participation of migrants in the Karmabhoomi to Mathrubhumi campaign, recharge structures were built in 45 thousand villages. At the same time, we cleaned more than 42 thousand water sources through the Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan – Jan Abhiyan and about 2.5 crore people participated. He said that the state government has done historic work in the direction of making the state self-reliant in water. Various schemes like Ramjal Setu Link Project, Yamuna Jal Samjhauta, Indira Gandhi Ganganagar, Dewas Yojana are ensuring uninterrupted supply of water.
Under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada, lakhs of needy people got relief.
CM Bhajan Sharma said that the Prime Minister believes that there are four castes in the country – poor, women, youth and farmers. Our government will fulfill every promise made for their upliftment. He said that recently Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Sambal Pakhwada was organized. During this, relief camps were organized across the state and lakhs of needy people were provided relief. From these camps, works like pending revenue cases in revenue courts, renaming, boundary knowledge applications, removal of encroachments from closed roads were completed. “We are working to bring BPL families of 10 thousand villages above the poverty line by launching the first of its kind Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Garibi Mukt Gaon Yojana in the country. He said that in the coming days, the state government will hold one day camp in a month at the gram panchayat level in which various works of the common people will be done at the local level.
Development works worth more than Rs. 1 crore
During the function, development works worth more than Rs. 1 thousand crore were handed over in Kekri Assembly Constituency. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of water supply system work for Kekri-Sarwar area under Jal Jeevan Mission at Kekri at a cost of about Rs 423 crore. The foundation stone of works for installation of cluster pumping system, overhead tank and distribution system for pure drinking water to 157 villages of Kekri Vidhan Sabha at a cost of Rs 300 crore was also laid today. At the function, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of electro-mechanical work on the transmission main system and intake of rainwater from Bisalpur Dam to Kekri under Bisalpur Dam Package-2 at a cost of Rs 291 crore. Construction and development of roads worth more than Rs 200 crore under Budget Announcement 2025-26 was also launched. He also inaugurated 26 roads in the district.
4 lakh government jobs for youth
CM Bhajan Sharma said that our government has given appointments to more than 75 thousand youth in government posts. The examination calendar for more than 81 thousand posts and advertisements for 26 thousand recruitments have been released. He urged the youth to study diligently. Our government will ensure that 4 lakh youth get government jobs. “For farmers, we have increased the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi to Rs 9,000. An amount of Rs 6,800 crore has been transferred to more than 76 lakh farmers of the state. He said that under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, more than 17 lakh women have been trained, 33 thousand scooties have been distributed to girls and more than 10 and a half lakh bicycles have been distributed to girls.
The development of crab will get new dimensions –
CM Bhajan Sharma said that our government has made important budget announcements of more than one thousand crore rupees for the Kekri assembly constituency, which will take the region to new heights of development. He said that the state government has taken various decisions including increasing the bed capacity of Community Hospital, Bhinaya, college in Sarwar, status of new municipality to Tantoti, first class veterinary hospital, upgradation of Kekri to multipurpose veterinary hospital, allotment of land for construction of 132 KV GSS in Bandanwara, upgradation of Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani dispensary to District Ayush Hospital.
Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that during the holy month of Sawan, the state government has set a target of planting 10 crore saplings under Hariyalo Rajasthan. Under the campaign, people are planting more and more trees. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the State is progressing rapidly in every field. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa said that the Chief Minister is working for the development of the entire state by creating a vision. The state is becoming a leading state in every sector including water, electricity, health, employment.
Earlier, CM Bhajan inspected a blood donation camp here. Later, he also planted a sapling in the premises. Public Health Engineering Minister Kanhaiyalal Chaudhary, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, Devnarayan Board Chairman Om Prakash Bhadana, MLAs Shatrughan Gautam, Virendra Kanawat, Rajendra Gurjar, other public representatives, senior administrative officials and a large number of common people were present on the occasion.
