CM Bhajan Lal : Land allocation for solar project, new industrial area and drinking water project also approved
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has taken important decisions aimed at giving impetus to industrial development in the State, ensuring adequate availability of energy and drinking water and increasing employment opportunities to the youth. Shri Sharma approved allotment of land to RIICO for setting up of Rajasthan Petrozone and Industrial Areas, to Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company Limited for setting up of Solar Project and to Chambal River Based Mega Drinking Water Scheme.
CM Bhajan Lal has approved the allotment of 74.50 hectares of land in village Sindhian Ki Dhani of Pachpadra Tehsil (Balotra) and 102 hectares of land in village Khemababa Nagar to RIICO, fulfilling the budget announcement to set up Rajasthan Petrozone near Pachpadra Refinery. With this, the work of setting up of Petrozone near the refinery will start soon.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma also approved the allotment of 31 hectares of land to RIICO for setting up a new industrial area at village Pipulund in Jahajpur Tehsil of Bhilwara district under Budget Announcement 2024-25.
The Cabinet also approved the allotment of 4,000 hectares of government land in village Bodana in tehsil Nachna of Jaisalmer district to Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company Limited for setting up a 2000 MW solar project.
In another episode, under the Budget Announcement 2024-25, 221 hectares of land has been approved in villages Panchauli, Dargawan, Ferozepur and Markakua of Tehsil Mandrail (Karauli) for construction of water reservoir for implementation of Chambal-Sawaimadhopur-Karauli-Nadauti-Gangapur City, a mega Chambal river based drinking water project.
