CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the farmers of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan will soon get the benefit of Yamuna water.In this regard, discussions were completed on Tuesday with Haryana CM Nayab Saini in the presence of Union Jalshakti Minister Shri CR Patel.Mr Sharma said that for the early implementation of this water agreement, a joint task force of officials from both states will be formed which will work on the DPR.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the Yamuna Water Agreement is a very good agreement for both the states. The Shekhawati region of Rajasthan has been waiting for Yamuna water for a long time.Now that wait is going to end and soon the joint task force of officials will start the work of DPR.
On this occasion, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed his gratitude to the Union Water Power Minister and said that the way the Central Ministry, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has done the work of Jal Jeevan Mission and connecting with rivers, there will be no shortage of water in the entire country including Rajasthan.
Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Saini told the media that it is a positive initiative that the excess water in Haryana should be given to Rajasthan.
