CM Bhajan Lal: Meeting regarding preparation of joint competitive preliminary examination of Rajasthan state and subordinate services

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that recruitment examinations should be conducted with alertness and vigilance, excellent arrangements should be made for the convenience of the candidates, and the police need to pay special attention to suspicious activities.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday reviewed in detail the preparations for the Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination of Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services to be held on February 2 by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission and various examinations conducted by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board in the month of February at the Chief Minister’s residence. He said that the state government is committed to conduct the competitive examinations with transparency and these examinations will be conducted with full awareness and vigilance.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that special vigilance should be maintained in the collection and distribution of question papers for the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination. The district administration, police and RPSC should better supervise and monitor the examination in coordination with each other. He said that confidentiality and security of question papers should be the top priority. He also directed to ensure effective management so that no unfair means are used in the examinations.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the district collectors and SPs should listen to the grievances of the complainants with sensitivity and resolve them soon. Any negligence or delay in solving the problems of the public will be fixed responsibility and strict action will be taken. He also directed to take effective steps to prevent road accidents. He also directed the District Collectors to conduct regular review of important works.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma directed to keep an eye on the students who are involved in suspicious activities and debarred. He said that a thorough inspection of the areas around the examination centres should also be done. He also directed the local police to be on high alert. In the meeting, RPSC Secretary Ramniwas Mehta informed that a new system of taking thumb impressions on the application form and attendance sheet has been implemented to prevent dummy candidates from appearing in the examination.

While directing to release the time-table of buses for smooth transportation, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma directed the Transport Department to ensure availability of adequate transport means for the examinees. He said that the state government is providing free transport facility two days before and after the examination, and the time-table of buses for the examinees should also be released. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also said that timely training of the staff engaged in the examination management should be ensured and availability of necessary infrastructure facilities in the examination centres should also be ensured.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that detailed discussions were held and necessary guidelines were given regarding the recruitment examinations to be held in February by the Staff Selection Board and the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test to be held on February 27-28 by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education.

The camps under Agri Stack will start from February 5. Reviewing the MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma directed the concerned departments to ensure implementation in a time-bound manner. CM Bhajan Lal Sharma ordered the officials to work in mission mode for the Agri Stack Scheme and Farmer Registry roll-out. It was informed in the meeting that camps for Farmer Registry will be organized at Gram Panchayat level from February 5.

The meeting also saw the presentation of guidelines regarding the Panch-Gaurav programme based on “one produce, one botanical species, one product, one tourist destination and one sport” in each district. Apart from this, the National Food Security Scheme, reorganization of Panchayati Raj Institutions, enhancement of limits of urban bodies, Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana, MLA Local Area Development Scheme and MP Local Area Development Scheme were thoroughly reviewed and necessary guidelines were provided.
