The State Government under the leadership of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma is committed to provide sensitive, corruption free and transparent governance to the people. In this sequence, the Chief Minister has taken disciplinary action against the officers of the state service, prosecution sanction and investigation cases of 55 officers while disposing of 37 cases pending under 17-A.
Taking a strong stand against the incompetence, inefficiency and unsatisfactory performance of the state employees, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has dismissed 9 police inspectors of the from the state service by giving them compulsory retirement. He has conducted compulsory retirement proceedings by getting the cases of 9 personnel examined by a high level committee while screening the work style, work efficiency, integrity, departmental inquiry proceedings and work evaluation reports etc. at various levels.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has approved the initiation of proceedings under Rule 8 of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969, against an IAS officer in a serious case of land allotment against rules. While disposing of the pending cases, he also granted sanction for prosecution of 6 officers and detailed investigation and investigation in Section 17-A of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 against 2 officers of the Rajasthan Administrative and Accounts Service.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has decided to withhold the annual increments in the departmental enquiry proceedings under Rule 16 of CCA against 13 serving officers with cumulative / non-cumulative effect. While disposing of the old cases of retired officers, he decided to stop the pension of 5 officers under the Pension Rules, strict punishment has been imposed against one of them to stop 100 per cent pension on conviction in a corruption case. It also approved the conclusion of investigation into substantiated allegations against 14 officers in 9 cases against retired officers.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, while dismissing the review petition filed by an officer under Rule 34 of the CCA, upheld the conviction and decided to accept the appeal under Rule 23 of the CCA in three cases of serving officers and to partially accept the appeal against two officers.
