CM Bhajan Lal Sharma : Ashwini Bishnoi increased the pride of Rajasthan by winning gold in wrestling

August 4, 2025 3 views 1 minutes read मुख्यमंत्री श्री भजनलाल शर्मा से रविवार को मुख्यमंत्री निवास पर विश्व कुश्ती चैम्पियनशिप में गोल्ड मेडल विजेता भीलवाड़ा निवासी अश्विनी विश्नोई ने मुलाकात की। श्री शर्मा ने दुपट्टा ओढ़ाकर अश्विनी का सम्मान किया तथा उनको इस उपलब्धि के लिए बधाई दी। श्री शर्मा ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि राज्य सरकार खेल प्रतिभाओं को तलाशने और तराशने के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास कर रही है। भीलवाड़ा की बेटी अश्विनी ने कुश्ती में गोल्ड मेडल जीतकर पूरे विश्व में राजस्थान का मान बढ़ाया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने अश्विनी विश्नोई की इस सफलता में मार्गदर्शन एवं सहयोग के लिए उनके पिता श्री मुकेश विश्नोई को भी बधाई दी। उल्लेखनीय है कि अश्विनी विश्नोई ने एथेंस में अंडर 17 वर्ल्ड कुश्ती चैम्पियनशिप के 65 किलो भार वर्ग में गोल्ड मेडल जीता है। इस जीत के साथ ही अश्विनी वर्ल्ड कुश्ती चैम्पियनशिप में गोल्ड मेडल जीतने वाली प्रदेश की प्रथम महिला पहलवान बनी है।

Ashwini Vishnoi, a resident of Bhilwara, who won gold medal in the World Wrestling Championship, met CM Bhajan Lal Sharma at his residence on Sunday. Shri Sharma felicitated Ashwini with a scarf and congratulated her for this achievement.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sharma said that the State Government is making every effort to find and groom sporting talent. Daughter of Bhilwara, Ashwini has made Rajasthan proud in the world by winning a gold medal in wrestling. The Chief Minister also congratulated Ashwini Vishnoi’s father Shri Mukesh Vishnoi for his guidance and support in this success.

Ashwini Vishnoi won the gold medal in the women’s 65kg category at the ongoing World U17 Championships in Athens. With this win, Ashwini has become the first woman wrestler from the state to win a gold medal in the World Wrestling Championship.
