CM Bhajan Lal Sharma: Public representatives, businessmen and social workers of Bharatpur presented their suggestions.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that keeping in view the possibilities of historical, religious and natural tourism in Bharatpur, beautification and systematic development works are being carried out so that Bharatpur can be developed as a hub of tourism. “In this direction, our government made many important announcements for the development of Bharatpur in the first budget.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was addressing a review meeting of the budget announcements and development works of Bharatpur at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday. He said that the process of land allotment related to almost all the budget announcements has been completed. The Chief Minister directed all the departments to expedite the further process after the land allotment so that these development works could be implemented in real time. He directed to regularly monitor the budget announcements and bring them on the ground at the earliest.
In most of the budget announcements, land allocation has been completed.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that in compliance with the budget announcements, Karmashila Bhawan has been constructed to bring all government offices at one place for the first time in the state, starting from Bharatpur. He said that land has been allotted for this and the remaining work will be completed soon. At the same time, he reviewed the progress of shifting of Janana Hospital out of the old city, shifting of Veterinary Hospital and Veterinary College elsewhere, and setting up of Science Centre.
Announcements made in the budget to provide better facilities to the public –
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the state government has made several announcements in the budget to provide facilities to the general public. He directed that the construction of Hiradas-Kumher Gate Flyover and Kali Bagichi-RBM Hospital Flyover should be started soon as per the budget announcements. He took stock of the progress of budget announcements related to construction of roads in Bharatpur and Deeg districts. The Chief Minister said that all the works of sanctioned GSS construction in Bharatpur district should be completed soon and the process of undergrounding of electricity wires in the city should be expedited. He also reviewed the construction works of bus stands at Rupwas, Nadbai and Kaman, development works at Master Adityendra and Badan Singh schools in Bharatpur, beautification of these works and parking arrangements.
To ensure the maintenance and preservation of heritage with quality
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the works related to tourism should be completed on time so that the maintenance and conservation of our heritage is done with high quality. He directed that DPR work for Girraj Canal, rejuvenation and beautification of Bharatpur, and reconstruction of Sujanganga be completed soon. Apart from this, he also directed to complete the tender work related to the construction of Govind Swami Panorama (Attari), Shri Gokula Jat Panorama and Raja Khemkaran Panorama soon. Shri Sharma informed that repair and beautification of the fort including White Palace of Wair, Pratap Phulwari and Pratap Canal, and beautification and upgradation works in the area around Bharatpur Fort have been taken up which should be completed in a time bound manner and with quality.
In the meeting, an action plan for the development of Poonchri Ka Loutha, Giriraj ji and Bharatpur city was presented. People’s representatives of Bharatpur, traders, hotels, mining, automobile businessmen and social workers shared their suggestions on various issues.
