CM Bhajan Lal Sharma On the first anniversary of the state government, farmers will get big gifts

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma is going to give many big gifts to the farmers of the state on the occasion of completion of one year in office. He gave necessary guidelines regarding the progress of schemes related to farmer welfare and benefit transfer in a meeting held to review public welfare schemes at the Chief Minister’s Office on Tuesday.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the public welfare schemes of the State Government are not just schemes but an important step towards the overall empowerment of the common man. He said that the work of taking the benefits and information of development programmes and schemes to the people should be done by keeping equal contact with all the stakeholders. He said that the State Government is committed to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a developed India.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the State Government is making effective preparations to give big gifts to the farmers on their first anniversary. He said that under the Rajasthan Agriculture Infrastructure Mission, the assistance amount will be transferred to the accounts of farmers for 5,500 farm pounds through DBT. Similarly, 2 thousand kilometers of pipeline, 5 thousand farmers will be provided assistance for fencing. He said that the State Government would provide grant-in-aid to 500 diggis, one thousand farmers with farm equipment assistance and two thousand vermi compost units in the canal area.

The Chief Minister said that under the Govardhan Organic Fertilizer Scheme, 3000 farmers would be provided assistance for the production of organic manure from cow dung. He informed that 50 clusters will be developed under the Namo Drone Didi scheme. He said that the second installment of the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi would also be released to the farmers.

Shri Sharma said that 15 thousand farmers will be benefitted for installation of solar pumps through KUSUM scheme. He said that drip irrigation is a long-term solution for irrigation in Rajasthan. Financial assistance for drip irrigation to 15 thousand farmers will be given by the government through DBT. Along with this, agricultural and non-agricultural loans will be provided to 1 thousand beneficiaries on interest subvention. Along with the distribution of Gopal Credit Cards to the cattle rearers, 1000 new dairy booths, installation of 200 new bulk milk coolers and 1000 new milk collection centres will also be inaugurated on the occasion. He said that the State Government has transferred an amount of Rs. 183.22 crore to more than 3.25 lakh milk producers under Mukhyamantri Dairy Utpadak Sambal Yojana by providing subsidy at the rate of Rs. 5 per litre.

On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr Jasbir Singh, Joint Commissioner of Police Mr Charanjit Singh Sohal, SDM Mr Rahul Sindhu, Joint MC Commissioner Mr Harcharan Singh, Assistant Commissioner Mr Hardeep Singh, ACP Model Town Mr Harinder Singh and others were present.
