CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that it is our resolve to improve the lives of the people by providing facilities to every village, every dhani and every person of the state. He said that the State Government is working with an aim to make the State strong and prosperous.
CM Bhajan Sharma laid the foundation stone of Isarda-Dausa Drinking Water Project by pressing the remote button at a function held at Dungarpur village in Lalsot Assembly Constituency of Dausa district on Monday. Addressing the gathering, he said that due to the blessings of Mahadev, the reservoirs in the state have become full of water and the Irsada dam has also received a lot of water. He said that under Isarda-Dausa Drinking Water Project, 8 Clean Reservoirs, 5 Pumphouses, 47 High Reservoirs will be constructed at Lalsot at a cost of about Rs 350 crore. This includes laying of 280 km of Rising Main Pipeline, over 200 km of Main Pipeline and 1360 km of VDS Pipeline. He said that these works to be completed by 2027 will provide clean drinking water to about 5.58 lakh population of 302 villages and about 69,000 population of Lalsot. Shri Sharma said that other development works worth more than Rs 120 crore have also been approved in Lalsot Vidhan Sabha.
CM Bhajan said that in the last one and a half years, the state government has taken many decisions for water, electricity, infrastructure and economic development of the state. Various steps have been taken, including the Ram Jal Setu Link Project, Yamuna Water Accord, Mahi Dam Scheme, for a permanent solution to the problem of drinking water and irrigation. He said the state government has provided additional irrigation facilities to 82,964 hectares of land by spending Rs 8,496 crore. Shri Sharma said that we will also provide day power to farmers by 2027.
Transparent recruitments, more than 75 thousand youth got appointments
CM Bhajan Sharma said that the State Government is working with a resolve to create 4 lakh government jobs in 5 years. Also, more than 3 lakh youth have been made employable by imparting skill training. He said that in one and a half years, appointment letters have been handed over to more than 75 thousand youth through 6 job fairs and recruitment advertisements have been issued for more than one lakh posts. The state government is conducting government recruitments with full transparency. Not a single recruitment exam has been paperless in our tenure.
On the five years of the previous government, CM Bhajan said that the development work done by the state government in the last one and a half years could not be done even in the five years of the previous government. We have built more than 32 thousand farm ponds in one and a half years as compared to 29 thousand farm ponds built in the entire five years of the previous government. During our time, the power generation capacity has increased by about 4,800 MW, while in the five years of the previous government, there was an increase of about 3,900 MW. Our government has connected 1,421 villages with roads, whereas the previous government could connect only about 1,100 villages with roads in five years. In one and a half years, 89 thousand students have been given tablets, while in their entire five years, this figure remained 986. In the last five years, the previous government had distributed only two and a half lakh Swamitva cards, while we have distributed one and a half million Swamitva cards.
CM Bhajan Sharma said that the Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan Jan Abhiyan launched by the State Government is yielding positive results. He said that last year more than 7 crore saplings were planted in the state and this year we have set a target of planting 10 crore saplings. The Chief Minister also called upon the people of the state to plant as many saplings as possible towards the target of planting 50 crore saplings in 5 years.
CM Bhajan said that the budget provision of Rs 116 crore for Lalsot Assembly constituency is being completed expeditiously. He said that work orders have been issued for the renovation and widening of SH-24 to NH-11I via Nangal Mode, Deoli Road-Lalsot Bypass. Renovation and widening of NH 148 from Dungarpur Mod to Dobe via Haripura and from Lalsot to Khatwa is being undertaken. Lalsot Municipality has been upgraded to Municipal Council. Also, Shyampura Primary Health Centre has been upgraded to Community Health Centre and Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Lalsot to PG.
Speaking on the occasion, Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena said that the double engine government of the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma is continuously working to improve the living standards of the farmers. High quality fertilizers and pesticides are being made available to increase their yield. He said the affected people would be given compensation as per the norms. The Agriculture Minister thanked the Chief Minister for providing water from Isarda Dam in Dausa area.
Water Resources Minister Kanhaiyalal said that during the tenure of the previous government, there was rampant corruption in the Jal Jeevan Mission due to which its works were not completed on time. Now quality works are being completed rapidly by our government under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
CM Bhajan also planted a sapling on the occasion. Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Jawahar Singh Bedham, MLAs Shri Ram Bilas Meena, Shri Bhagchand Tankara, Shri Rajendra Meena, Shri Mahendra Pal Meena, Shri Ramavtar Bairwa, Shri Ram Sahai Verma and other public representatives, senior officers and a large number of common people were present on the occasion.
