CM Bhajan Lal Sharma : Our aim is a happy and prosperous Rajasthan, the benefits of public welfare schemes should reach the last person

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that in the Budget 2025-26, a roadmap has been prepared to make Rajasthan self-reliant, prosperous and development oriented. In the budget, various provisions have been made for the development of all 200 assembly constituencies in the state. He said that the officers should work with full responsibility and ensure the implementation of budgetary announcements in a time-bound manner so that the concept of ‘Aapno Agrani Rajasthan’ gains momentum.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was addressing the review meeting on implementation of Budget Announcements 2025-26 held at Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday. During the meeting, the Prime Minister made various announcements. Shri Sharma took a detailed review and provided necessary guidelines to the officers. He said that our government is ensuring regular follow up of the progress of budgetary announcements so that the benefits of these schemes reach the last person on the ground.

Monitoring the department and send regular progress reports to the Chief Minister’s Office –
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the green budget presented by the state government for the first time will give a boost to environmental protection. To keep the state green, a green audit will be conducted through subject experts from the public and private sectors. He said that crores of saplings were planted in the state under the ‘Ek Vriksha Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. He directed the forest department officials to increase public awareness for ecological balance in the state. He said that 20 lakh women would be benefitted from Lakhpati Didi Yojana under Rajivika Mission for economic empowerment of women of the state. He directed the Cooperation Department and Rajivika to work in coordination, which will also strengthen cooperative banks and provide economic strength to women.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the State Government is committed to fulfil the vision of Ayushman Rajasthan. He took stock of the progress of other budgetary announcements of the health department including setting up of day-care centres and diabetic clinics in all district hospitals and directed to complete them in a time-bound manner. He said that work should be done at a fast pace to open Annapurna Bhandar at 5,000 fair price shops. He also directed the officials of the Food and Civil Supplies Department to promote the sale and branding of their products by establishing a tie-up with Rajivika.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that a clear plan of action for the budgetary announcements should be made so that the announcements could be made in a time-bound manner. He said that the departments should prepare progress reports of their budgetary announcements and send them to the Chief Minister’s Office regularly. Giving strict instructions to the departments where the expected progress has not been made, the Chief Minister said that the work should be expedited and regular monitoring should be done.

During the meeting, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma reviewed the implementation of budgetary announcements of key departments like Water Resources, Finance, Forest, Environment, Rural Development, Revenue, Autonomous Governance, Medical and Health, Mines and Petroleum, Food and Civil Supplies, Cooperation, Personnel, School Education, Gopalan, Panchayati Raj, Labour and Horticulture. Officials of various departments were present.
