CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that in the month of Phalgun, every person gets filled with joy and gets drenched in the colors of Holi. Terming the Fagotsav at Shri Galtaji Tirtha as special, he said that the event reflects the commitment of the State Government towards development and preservation of religious places.
CM Bhajan Lal was addressing the devotees during the Braj-Avadh Fagotsav at Shri Galtaji Teerth on Monday. He said that Sri Galtaji has historical and religious significance, where divinity and grandeur are experienced. It is believed that bathing in the pond here fulfills all the wishes of the devotees. Temples of Lord Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Hanumanji are located here, which gives a combined feel of Awadhpuri and Braj.
CM Bhajan Lal said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, along with development, our cultural heritage is also being protected in the country. The state government is also committed to the development and preservation of religious places in the state while working in this direction.
On the occasion, CM Bhajan Lal offered prayers at Sitaramji Temple and Gyan Gopalji Temple. He enjoyed the hymns and songs of the Fagotsav and participated in the Deep Maha Aarti. District Collector Dr Mahendra Kalyankar, Mayor Meenakshi Shinde, Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh and TMC Commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal were among those present on the occasion.
