CM Bhajan Lal Sharma reviews preparations for Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit would enhance the global reputation of the state. He said that themes related to folk culture and folk art of Rajasthan should be added as much as possible in the cultural programs and other activities to be organized during the summit. Investors from India and abroad participating in this Global Summit will also get a glimpse of the rich and attractive folk culture of Rajasthan.

Sharma was reviewing the preparations for the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit at the Chief Minister’s Office on Monday. He directed that the preparations for the Summit to be held from 9th to 11th December should be finalised to ensure successful conduct of the Summit.

More and more expatriate Rajasthanis should be associated with the summit.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that more and more NRIs should be invited to the Pravasi Rajasthan Conclave of this summit and the theme of the program should also be linked to the culture of Rajasthan. During this time, the efforts being made by the state government regarding investment in the state should be made known. At the same time, he took information about the One District One Product, Rajivika and Country Partner pavilions to be set up in the exhibition and gave appropriate guidelines in this regard.

Sectoral and Country Sessions and MSME Conclave to be held

Shri Sharma said that sectoral and country sessions related to various sectors and investments from different countries including tourism, education, finance will be held during the summit. Participants attending these sessions should be allotted appropriate time for panel discussions and all facilities should be ensured. He also reviewed the arrangements for the inaugural session of the Summit, exhibition and MSME Conclave.

Prominent amongst others who were present in the meeting included Chief Secretary Mr. Sudhanshu Pant, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Secretary Industries and Commerce Mr. Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (CM) Mr. Alok Gupta, Secretary Tourism Mr. Ravi Jain, Commissioner Industries and Commerce Mr. Rohit Gupta, Managing Director RIICO Mr. Inderjit Singh.
