CM Bhajanlal Sharma while remembering the sacrifices of the brave-hearts said that there is nothing more than freedom and respect. Describing Chittorgarh as the holy land of power, devotion, sacrifice and austerity, he said that every stone here is encapsulated in the tales of valor, and its history is full of sacrifice and sacrifice.
CM Bhajanlal Sharma was addressing the homage ceremony organized by Johar Smriti Sansthan in Chittorgarh on Tuesday. He said that this is not just an occasion to pay tributes but a moment to take a pledge to imbibe valour and sacrifice. Describing Chittorgarh Fort as a symbol of national identity and Sanatan culture, he said that the Kshatriya warriors here considered it a pride to die for the motherland. The presence of a tribal representative in the state emblem of Mewar signifies social harmony.
Rana Sanga: Symbol of Freedom, Courage and Sacrifice
CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that the whole world takes inspiration from the heroes of Mewar, but some anarchic elements try to tarnish their pride, which is unacceptable. Describing Rana Sanga as a great warrior, he said that he gave his all to protect the motherland and Sanatan Dharma. Rana Sanga was the custodian of the cultural and religious heritage not only of Mewar but of the whole of India. Questioning such heroes is an insult to them, and those who do so should apologise to the entire nation.
The State Government is committed to the preservation of historical monuments.
CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that the State Government is continuously working for the preservation of historical heritage. Along with the upgradation of Chittorgarh Museum, Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit is being developed. Also, a Tribal Tourist Circuit is being developed at a cost of Rs 100 crore covering several tourist destinations including Sitamata Sanctuary, Rishabhdev, Gautameshwar Temple and Matrikundia. Besides, upgradation of Light and Sound show at Chittorgarh, ropeway facility at Chhatrang Mori-Chittorgarh and projects related to dams of Chittorgarh and Bhilwara at a cost of Rs 7100 crore are also being implemented.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister released the Johar Saka Souvenir and felicitated various talents. Prior to the programme, he visited the Kalika Mata Temple. Industries Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State for Cooperation Shri Gautam Dak, Minister of State for Women and Child Development Dr. Manju Baghmar, MLAs and a large number of public were present on the occasion.
