During the inspection, the Chief Minister expressed concern over scattered garbage at multiple locations. Officials were warned that negligence in maintaining public facilities would not be tolerated.
Instructions for Enhanced Passenger Services
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the Transport Department and MDDA officials to implement regular cleaning schedules, display cleanliness signage, and ensure a pollution-free, hygienic environment for passengers. MDDA Vice Chairman Banshidhar Tiwari was instructed to prepare and execute an immediate action plan to improve ISBT management.
Passenger Feedback as a Priority
Interacting with travelers, CM Dhami sought feedback on their experiences and suggestions for improvement. He emphasized that public input will play a key role in raising service standards at bus stations and transport hubs across the state.
Uttarakhand’s Statewide Cleanliness Initiative
The Chief Minister announced a comprehensive cleanliness campaign to be launched statewide, promoting active public participation. He also warned that all facilities at ISBT Dehradun must meet high standards before his next inspection, with strict action against officials who fail to comply.
