CM Dhami says UCC does not target anyone, citing the "good fortune of Uttarakhand people."

According to Uttarakhand CM Dhami, the BJP will secure a larger margin this time around for all five of the state’s Lok Sabha seats.

CM Dhami stated that the Uniform Civil Code’s implementation was fortunate for the state’s citizens, adding that the BJP has made the UCC a central platform since the party’s founding and that it does not single out any group.

“UCC has been our core agenda since the independence of the country and it was the good fortune of the people of Uttarakhand that we got a chance to implement it,” Dhami stated on Wednesday.

“We had said before the elections that if our government comes to power, we will implement UCC. The public blessed us and we fulfilled our promise,” he added.

The head of the BJP declared that there would be no opposition challenge in any of the five seats, and that the party will win all five seats with a “greater” margin this time around.

Dhami stated that the opposition parties’ resistance to UCC was done so within the bounds of the Constitution. “We did not target anyone…just as Gangotri has emerged from Uttarakhand, similarly UCC has been implemented from here and everyone will get benefits in future,” he stated.

UTTARAKHAND WEATHER: NEXT FEW DAYS WILL SEE THIS TYPE OF WEATHER, CHANCES OF SUNSHINE IN THE PLAINS, RAIN AND SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS.

Speaking about demolishing encroachment and illegal mazars, Dhami stated that since Narendra Modi became prime minister, the workplace culture has evolved. “Earlier there was only vote bank politics and politics of appeasement leaving behind national interest.”

He claimed that there is a “big conspiracy” behind unlawful occupation and invasion. “Whatever steps needed to be taken have been taken to maintain the original form of Devbhoomi and we will continue to do so,” stated the chief minister of Uttarakhand.

In an attempt to curb migration, CM Dhami stated that the state has introduced programs to encourage self-employment and tourism in addition to opening up homestays. She said that people are returning as a result of these initiatives. He said, “Women are finding work through self-help groups, which is good for the state.”

CM Dhami emphasized that the state’s anti-conversion law, which was one of the election promises, has been in place for two years. It is a sin in Devbhoomi to convert. The people of Devbhoomi should not waver in their beliefs. Maintaining the original form of Devbhoomi is my top priority as the chief servant of the government, as assigned by the people,” he stated.
