- Approval of cases of 10 industrial units

In the Cabinet Committee on Investment Promotion meeting chaired by CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, 10 mega-level industrial unit cases were approved as customized packages. These projects are expected to attract a capital investment of approximately Rs 2,100 crore and are anticipated to generate direct employment for around 6,200 people.
In the meeting, matters related to 3 units of textile, Laxminath Kalpana District Khargone, Vishveshwara Denim District Neemuch, Mohini Active Life District Indore, 5 units of food processing, Dabur District Dhar, Hindustan Coca Cola District Rajgarh, Modleys District Bhind, Drytech District Pandhurna and Bakersville District Indore, Shakti Pump District Dhar unit of engineering sector and Shivani Detergent District Dhar unit of FMCG were discussed.
It was told in the meeting that capital investment of about Rs 2100 crore will come in the above projects. The state government is providing incentive grant for various items like electricity at low rates, capital grant, employment generation grant and training. It is estimated that about 6200 people will get direct employment from the proposed projects.
It is notable that the state government is continuously organising regional industry conclaves in various areas to encourage industrialization and investment in the entire state. As a result of the above events, a positive environment has been created for investment in the state.
