CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, who was the chief guest at the Rajyotsava program organized on the occasion of Statehood Day, said that the double engine governments are taking Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on the path of development at a rapid pace.
Dr Yadav lauded the success of pro-people schemes and anti-Maoist operations in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Maoism is on the verge of ending from Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Mohan Yadav further said that Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have a common culture and a common idea. He said that Chhattisgarh is the best, this honor was not received just like that. The people of Chhattisgarh are known for their simplicity, for their paddy bowls and for their natural resources. A new dimension of development has been established from Raipur to Bastar. The double engine government here is moving on the path of development very fast. Lord Shri Ram has spent a lot of time in Chhattisgarh. The case of eating the berries of Mata Shabri is also from Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our glorious past has been created due to Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, our government will work to preserve it. We are also working to promote religious tourism in places where Lord Shri Krishna’s pastimes have taken place. The festival of Diwali was celebrated with fervour in the state. This has increased the popularity of the event. “We have the Ladli Behen scheme here, you have the Mahtari Vandana scheme here. We will all continue to move on the path of rapid development. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Rajyotsava, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that today we are fortunate that the popular Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Mohan Yadav has come to inaugurate the Rajyotsava.
The Chief Minister began his address by paying tributes to Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh, Veer Gundadhur and other martyrs of Chhattisgarh. He also remembered Birsa Munda, a symbol of the valour of the tribal community across the country. He also paid obeisance to icons like Guru Baba Ghasidas, Mini Mata and Maharaja Chakradhar Singh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his first death anniversary. The Chief Minister also remembered Lord Shri Ram, Mata Shabri, Rishi Agastya at Madheshwar Mahadev Taposthal and other sages.
The Chief Minister said that the love of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh is like that of brothers. The foundation day of both the states is the same day. I also congratulate Dr. Mohan Yadav ji on the foundation day and wish for the rapid development of Madhya Pradesh as well. Chhattisgarh is entering its 25th year today. You have seen the development journey of these 24 years. During the tenure of Dr. Raman Singh as Chief Minister, development took place in every sector in Chhattisgarh. Institutions like IIT, IIM, AIIMS and Law University were established here.
A strong system of paddy procurement and PDS was established. “It has been ten months since our government came to power. In such a short time, our government has fulfilled most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Whether it is the promise of purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal or the promise of giving one thousand rupees to mothers and sisters, the Ram Lalla Darshan scheme, the PSC examination is being investigated. All the works were completed in a month’s time.
The Chief Minister said that we have to fulfill the vision of developed Chhattisgarh. We have prepared a vision document and will work accordingly. Speaking on the occasion, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Atal ji built the state of Chhattisgarh. The development that has taken place in the state today is due to Atal ji. “Our state is the birthplace of Lord Ram. It is not a piece of land, it has immense possibilities. He said that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has done a wonderful job. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Sao said that just like all the family members gather during the Diwali festival, the family members and elder brother Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav have also come to share happiness with us. The creation of Chhattisgarh is the most unique example of democracy.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Dr. Mohan Yadav is accelerating the pace of development of Madhya Pradesh. We are working in the field of cow protection. The Chief Minister of our state Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, implemented many big schemes simultaneously, due to which the state is developing rapidly. Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included MLAs Mr Amrik Singh Dhillon, Mr Kuldip Singh Vaid and Mr Lakhbir Singh Lakha, former minister Mr Malkit Singh Dakha, former MP Mr Amrik Singh Aliwal, Chairman Mr KK Bawa, Chairman Mr Amarjit Singh Tikka, District Congress Committee (Rural) president Mr Karanjit Singh Soni Galib, DCC (Urban) president Mr Ashwani Sharma, District Youth Congress president Mr Rajiv Raja, PEDA vice chairman Mr Karan Waring, Zila Parishad member Mr Gurdev Singh Lapran, PPCC general secretary Mr Harkesh Chand Sharma, Councillor Mr Harkaran Singh Vaid, Mr Kamil Boparai, Mr Anand Sarup Singh Mohi, besides several others.
