CM Dr. Yadav : Shri Dhooniwale Dadaji Temple Reflects the Deep Devotion of Millions
CM Dr. Yadav remarked that the Shri Dhooniwale Dadaji Temple is far more than a place of worship—it stands as a powerful symbol of the unwavering devotion and spiritual connection felt by countless devotees from Khandwa district and the greater Nimar region. With the temple’s bhoomi poojan ceremony held today, a long-standing aspiration of devotees has been fulfilled, marking the beginning of a new spiritual chapter.
During his visit to the Shri Dadaji Darbar Bhoomi Poojan Mahotsav in Khandwa on Monday, CM Dr. Yadav paid his respects by offering prayers at the Samadhi and floral tributes at the site designated for the construction of the upcoming temple.
Sacred Bhoomi Poojan Ceremony Held with Vedic Chants
The foundation-laying ceremony for the grand temple was conducted with the chanting of Vedic mantras, attended by saints, elected representatives, officials, and a large gathering of local devotees.
CM Performs Rituals at the Samadhis
CM Dr. Yadav offered rituals at the Samadhis of Bade and Chhote Dadaji Maharaj. He performed a traditional offering (ahuti) in the dhuni and prayed in the presence of saints, expressing deep reverence by offering flowers at the sacred samadhi.
A Majestic Temple to Be Built Over 22 Acres
The upcoming temple will be built on a sprawling 22-acre site at an estimated cost of ₹100 crore. CM Dr. Yadav informed that while the temple trust will lead the construction, the state government will extend support wherever needed. The structure will be modeled on the architectural magnificence of Shirdi and Akshardham and will be built primarily with marble. Construction is set to commence after Guru Purnima.
The temple complex will feature a modern gaushala, residential facilities for sevadars, parking space, accommodations for devotees, a community dining hall, and rest areas for pilgrims undertaking the Narmada Parikrama.

Describing the project as more than just a physical structure, Shri Dada Guru Maharaj said that it represents a spiritual awakening and a new era of devotion and service. After India’s four major dhams, Shri Dadaji Dham is being hailed as the fifth dham, destined to emerge as a major spiritual and devotional hub.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Ministers Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Shri Gyaneshwar Patil, MLAs Smt. Archana Chitnis, Smt. Chhaya More, Shri Kanchan Tanve, Mayor Smt. Amrita Yadav, along with numerous officials and public representatives.
