CM Dr. Yadav has said that major developments are taking place in Tikamgarh. The district will never face the problem of drought again. The country’s first river-linking project will change the picture and destiny of not only Tikamgarh but the entire Bundelkhand. The much-awaited Ken-Betwa Link National Project will provide irrigation and drinking water facilities on a large scale. Besides, the lives of the citizens will change for the better due to development in power generation, crop production, and tourism sector. CM Dr. Yadav was speaking at the Jankalyan Parv cum Kisan Sammelan programme organized in Jatara tehsil of Tikamgarh district on Sunday.

CM Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi pujan and dedicated 120 development works worth Rs 105 crore 63 lakh for Tikamgarh district. He offered laddus to the farmers present in the programme, and invited them to attend the Bhoomi pujan programme of Ken-Betwa Link Project to be organized in Khajuraho on 25th December.

CM Dr. Yadav said that the country is developing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Rs 1 lakh crore has been approved for the Ken-Betwa link project. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ken-Betwa Link Project to realize the vision of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Late. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Khajuraho in Chhatarpur district on 25th December. Once the project takes shape, Bundelkhand will become green and prosperous, and migration from the region will also stop. The Chief Minister invited the general public to Khajuraho on the occasion of the inauguration of the mega project and made all the attendees pledge with clenched hands to come to the Bhoomi Pujan programme.

CM Dr. Yadav viewed the model of Ken-Betwa Link Project and visited the exhibition on public welfare and development and the stalls set up by various departments at the venue. Women took out Kalash Yatra and welcomed the Chief Minister by showering flowers. Minister of State for Forest and Environment Shri Dilip Ahirwar, MLA Jatara Shri Harishankar Khatik, Shri Amit Nuna, District Panchayat President Smt. Umita Rahul Singh, former Minister Shri Rahul Singh, public representatives, Ladli Behnas and a large number of farmers were present in the programme.
