CM Dr. Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is now progressing rapidly, and this pace of development will not be allowed to slow down. He emphasised that the government will work hand-in-hand with citizens on every aspect of development.
CM Dr. Yadav announced that on the upcoming occasion of Raksha Bandhan, all Ladli Behnas in the state will receive Rs. 1,500 in their accounts—Rs. 1,250 as the fixed scheme amount and an additional Rs. 250 as a Raksha Bandhan gift. He added that with everyone’s cooperation, Madhya Pradesh’s landscape will be transformed in the next five years. He was addressing a public gathering in Bareli (Raisen district) during a programme for inauguration and foundation laying of various development works. On the occasion, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth Rs.138.96 crore, including projects under the Health Department, and also distributed benefits to selected beneficiaries of various government schemes. CM Dr. Yadav Participates in Tree Plantation with Local Public Representatives under Jal Ganga Samwardhan Abhiyan.
Bareli Advancing on the Path of Development
CM Dr. Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is achieving new milestones in development. He said,Bareli region, is blessed by Lord Hanuman of Chhind and is also progressing as an agriculturally prosperous area. He recalled that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee launched the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to connect villages by road, even when critics questioned its necessity. It was Atalji’s visionary leadership that also gave India the Golden Quadrilateral, which continues to benefit the entire country including the Narmadanchal region.
Farmers to be Freed from Power Bills in Three Years
CM Yadav announced that the government has decided to provide electricity connections to farmers for just five rupees. The goal is to completely free farmers from electricity bills within three years. He highlighted the launch of the solar pump scheme, encouraging farmers to produce their own electricity, use it, and sell the surplus to the government. To ensure water reaches every field, he said projects like Ken-Betwa Link, Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link, and Tapi Mega Recharge have been initiated.
Previously, only 7 lakh hectares in the state were irrigated; now 55 lakh hectares are under irrigation. The target is to expand it to 100 lakh hectares in the next five years.
Internship Support for Youth
The Chief Minister praised Minister of State Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel’s initiative to provide internships to unemployed youth from farming families. Under this scheme, youth receive skill training and Rs. 3,000 per month. CM Yadav announced that the internship stipend will now be funded by the state government and reiterated the government’s commitment to youth development and employment.
Target to Raise Number of Medical Colleges to 50 in Three Years
The Chief Minister said the government is working on increasing the number of medical and nursing colleges, with a target of establishing 50 medical colleges within three years. Girls from villages will benefit from education and employment opportunities in nursing.
He reaffirmed that Ladli Behnas will receive Rs.1,500 on Raksha Bandhan—Rs.1,250 as per the scheme and an extra Rs. 250 as a festive gift.
Madhya Pradesh to Surpass Punjab and Haryana, Become India’s No. 1 State
CM Dr. Yadav highlighted the state’s Rs. 4.21 lakh crore budget and said 8 airports have been developed. He spoke of promoting industrialization and developing metropolitan areas including Bareli and Obedullaganj. He emphasized that the state is working for farmers’ prosperity and aims to surpass Punjab and Haryana to become the No. 1 state in India. Agro-based industries are being promoted, and schemes have been launched to make Madhya Pradesh the dairy capital of the country.
Women in self-help groups and farmers are being encouraged to start cattle rearing, with a 25% subsidy provided. The government will buy the milk. Ten gaushalas (cow shelters) are being opened in each municipal corporation. The per-cow subsidy has been increased from Rs. 20 to Rs. 40. The government will support anyone interested in opening a gaushala.
Minister Shri Patel Highlights Progress and Guarantees Fulfilled
Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel stated that CM Dr. Yadav is committed to fulfilling the guarantees of Prime Minister Shri Modi. He thanked the Chief Minister for initiating procurement of moong and urad at Minimum Support Price and highlighted that wheat is being procured at Rs. 2,600 per quintal this year.
He mentioned various irrigation projects being implemented and praised the PM Shri Ambulance Scheme for providing critical care access in Bareli and Udaipura. He also outlined rural and urban development initiatives.

Responding to demands from Minister Shri Patel and local representatives, CM Dr. Yadav made announcesd A stadium will be constructed in Bareli, Barna and Jamgarh irrigation projects in Udaipura assembly constituency will be launched soon, Bareli Nagar Parishad will be upgraded to Nagar Palika, A new veterinary hospital will be built in Bareli, Development works will be undertaken at temples in Chhind, Bapauli, and Udaipura regions.
CM Participates in Grand Tiranga Yatra in Bareli
CM Dr. Yadav also participated in a grand Tiranga Yatra (Tricolour Rally) held in Bareli to honour India’s brave soldiers. The event witnessed massive public participation. The CM raised patriotic slogans like Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai, as people showered him with flower petals along the roadsides. Students of the Government Girls Higher Secondary School presented cultural performances, and local folk dance groups also performed. At various welcome stages, ex-servicemen, social groups, business associations, tribal communities, self-help group women, youth, elders, and Ladli Behnas warmly greeted the Chief Minister.
