CM Dr. Yadav reviewed the department-wise preparations at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday night for PM Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Dhar district on September 17.
CM Dr. Yadav held discussions with Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain and other senior officials and issued necessary directives. CM Dr. Yadav was briefed about the program outline and given instructions regarding the foundation-laying of PM Mitra Park, along with the Healthy Woman, Empowered Family campaign and the Poshan Abhiyan. From September 17 to October 2, the state will observe the ‘Swastha Nari, Sashakta Parivar’, Empowered Family Campaign and the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ Pakhwada.
The Chief Minister reviewed the detailed preparations for the Bhoomi Poojan of PM Mitra Park, which is being established as a special gift to Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday. This will be the first of the seven PM Mitra Parks in the country to become operational, with work set to begin shortly. CM Dr. Yadav has invited various industrial units to set up their operations in this park.
The park is expected to bring a transformative change in the lives of cotton-growing farmers of Dhar district and the Malwa-Nimar region. It is projected to create direct employment for one lakh people and indirect employment for two lakh more. It represents a strong initiative of the Central and State governments for the welfare of youth, women, farmers and economically weaker sections. As part of the program in Dhar, several activities under Health Kiosks will also be organised.
