Haryana Chief Minister approves enhancement in Pension under the Scheme for Matribhasha Satyagrahis of the Hindi Andolan-1957

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has given  approval to increase pension for the Matribhasha Satyagrahis of the Hindi Andolan-1957 from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month

Chandigarh, July 30 –

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has given approval to increase pension for the Matribhasha Satyagrahis of the Hindi Andolan-1957 from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month.

Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson stated that Department of Information, Public Relations, Languages, and Culture disburses a monthly pension of Rs. 15,000 to 161 Matribhasha Satyagrahis or their surviving spouses. With the proposed increase to Rs. 20,000 per month, there will be an additional annual expenditure of Rs. 96.60 lakh, raising the total annual budget of around Rs. 3.86 crore.
