Employment Maha Kumbh : CM Yogi said that youth of Uttar Pradesh are a tremendous source of energy, whose talent and skills are driving industrial growth. Today, their capabilities are in demand not only across India but also globally.
Speaking at the inauguration of the three-day Employment Maha Kumbh 2025, he noted that the event is bringing industries and employers together with skilled youth eager for jobs. He stressed that for the vision of a developed India, it is essential that every young person gets employment matching their abilities.
On this occasion ,Employment Maha Kumbh , the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to newly selected youth and launched several digital platforms, including the Labour Nyay Setu Portal, Industrial Tribunal Website, E-Court Portal, and the Integrated Monitoring System for Atal Residential Schools.
Highlighting the achievements of the last eight years, CM Yogi said that government schemes have enabled many young people to start their own enterprises and provide jobs to others. Through initiatives like One District, One Product (ODOP), nearly 96 lakh MSME units were revived, creating employment for millions, including migrant workers during the COVID-19 period.
He emphasized that Uttar Pradesh is the first state to provide ₹5 lakh insurance cover to registered MSME units. Initiatives like Vocal for Local, Vishwakarma Shram Samman and PM Vishwakarma Yojana are empowering traditional artisans—such as carpenters, masons, goldsmiths, potters, cobblers, and barbers—by offering training, affordable loans, and toolkits.
The Chief Minister informed that over 70,000 youth have already benefitted from the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan, which supports young entrepreneurs with interest-free and collateral-free loans. In the past eight years, more than 8.5 lakh youths have secured government jobs, including large recruitments in police and education.
CM Yogi reiterated the state’s zero tolerance policy towards crime, which has turned Uttar Pradesh into a top investment destination. Over ₹15 lakh crore worth of investment proposals have been grounded, creating more than 60 lakh local jobs.
He added that UP is among the leading states in Skill Development and Startup Promotion. Youth are being trained in emerging fields such as AI, IoT, robotics, and drone technology, with dedicated courses, labs, and workshops being set up. To make them more competitive abroad, the state is also providing foreign language training in German, French, Spanish, and Japanese.
The CM announced the formation of a new corporation to guarantee minimum wages and protect workers from exploitation. He also launched the Labour Nyay Setu Portal to provide faster and transparent resolution of labour disputes.
He underlined that the prosperity of workers and farmers is key to the nation’s progress. With initiatives like Atal Residential Schools, thousands of workers’ children are receiving free, modern education with lodging and meals.
CM Yogi concluded that when industries thrive and workers are empowered, no force can stop Uttar Pradesh and India from becoming developed nations.
