Speaking at a public gathering, the Chief Minister criticized revenue officers who previously troubled citizens under the guise of mass leaves or strikes. He emphasized that the government did not yield to the pressure of these corrupt individuals, who are now facing police action for their misconduct. CM MAAN reiterated that the AAP government has a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and that going on mass leave was an attempt by these officers to shield their corrupt practices—something the government refused to accept.
CM MAAN added that these officers’ tactics to pressure the government were firmly resisted and decisive action has been taken to hold them accountable. The Chief Minister asserted that the routine harassment faced by the common people from such officials is no longer being tolerated, and strict measures are being enforced to protect public interest.
Highlighting reforms, CM MAAN shared that the state is testing an online system for land deed registrations, which will soon be rolled out. Under the new system, citizens can apply through Sewa Kendras and receive registered documents at their doorstep—ushering in a new era of transparency and convenience.
