CM Mohan Yadav has said that while establishing the brand value of Global Skill Park, all the seats here should be filled. A wide-reaching publicity campaign should be run, focusing on all the technical courses, their utility, and employability. The skill training system should be ensured as per the demand of the existing industries in the state, and the private sector’s cooperation should also be taken to provide training to the youth. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has directed that there should be an ITI in every development block of the state. He said that activities should be conducted at the local level with the coordination of existing industrial units to provide training to ITI and Polytechnic students. This will ensure the availability of local employment for the youth. These instructions were given by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav during a review meeting of the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment. The meeting took place at Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) with Technical Education Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar, State Minister of Skill Development and Employment (Independent Charge) Shri Gautam Tetwal, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajora, and other departmental officers present.
CM Mohan Yadav said that the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment has an important role in training youth for self-employment, entrepreneurship, and employment. He expressed dissatisfaction with the progress of the schemes and programs operated by the department. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that goals and timelines should be set for the skill development of youth and for employment-oriented programs, and result-oriented activities should be conducted.
CM Mohan Yadav said that there are ample employment opportunities for individuals proficient in German and Japanese languages. He directed that training arrangements should be made in the state for languages in which there are greater employment opportunities. He also instructed that effective arrangements should be made to provide practical training to youth by linking technically proficient universities and private sector industrial units with educational institutions. He said that this would provide skilled and efficient human resources to the industries in the state according to their requirements, and youth would be able to get local-level employment. The meeting also reviewed the Skill Development Policy, the merger of employment offices and skill development, and the Shruti program to identify local and traditional methods.
