CM Mohan Yadav : Offers lamps with his wife on the banks of Yamuna
- Meets devotees at Mahamandaleshwar Bada Udasin Ashram
CM Mohan Yadav accompanied by his family, offered prayers at Maa Yamuna on Wednesday in the holy city of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. He also offered Deepdaan with his wife on the banks of Yamuna. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Mathura has a special identity as it is the city of Lord Krishna. Ayodhya, Mathura, Varanasi, Ujjain, Haridwar, Kanchipuram, and Dwarka have existed since time immemorial and provide salvation. I am fortunate to be visiting the birthplace of Lord Krishna and the ashram of our Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Bada Udasin Guru Sharananand ji.
CM Mohan Yadav said that in Sanatan culture, Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna hold a special place as miraculous, amazing, and revered figures for every Sanatani. He highlighted that the faith of Sanatan Dharma followers in Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna has remained unwavering across all eras, periods, and circumstances. CM Mohan Yadav further stated that their teachings continue to be relevant even today.
CM Mohan Yadav shared that the teachings of Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna have been included in the curriculum in Madhya Pradesh. He also
highlighted the special significance of Dev Darshan in the month of Paush and mentioned the upcoming Kumbh Snan before the holy festival of Makar Sankranti. Dr. Yadav said that visiting Mathura during this sacred month, offering prayers, and receiving blessings from the Guru will be auspicious, especially on this rare occasion that occurs once every twelve years.
CM Mohan Yadav met and discussed with local public representatives and many devotees at the ashram of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Bada Udasin Guru Sharananand ji in Mathura. He also visited other temples in Mathura.
