CM Mohan Yadav announced that the state government will directly transfer ₹2,000 per hectare into the bank accounts of paddy-producing farmers, ensuring benefits for small farmers as well. He highlighted that incentives were first introduced for Kodo-Kutki cultivation, and now wheat farmers will receive ₹2,600 per quintal for their produce. Additionally, the government will procure milk from dairy farmers and provide them with bonuses. To reduce farmers’ dependence on electricity bills, solar pumps will be distributed.
CM Mohan Yadav also revealed plans to construct Gita Bhawans in every urban area. In Umaria, a new bridge over the Son River will be built at a cost of ₹45 crore, with another bridge planned for ₹32 crore. On Wednesday, he unveiled a statue of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Naurozabad, Umaria, while inaugurating and laying foundation stones for various development projects.
He paid tribute to Atal Ji, recognizing him as a visionary leader whose birth centenary is being celebrated this year. CM Mohan Yadav credited him with pioneering rural development, emphasizing that the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has greatly improved connectivity for villagers. He noted that Atal Ji was instrumental in linking villages with urban development and was widely respected across political parties.
Highlighting Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision,CM Mohan Yadav stated that roads will be constructed in villages with populations of at least 250 people. He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing permanent housing for the underprivileged, ensuring that every citizen has a rightful place to live. Various initiatives are underway to support farmers, youth, and women, including regional industry conclaves aimed at generating employment opportunities. The Global Investors Summit-2025 in Bhopal will see the participation of Prime Minister Modi.
CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is rich in resources, with ample electricity and water supply, making it an ideal location for industries. The government has introduced favorable policies to encourage local youth to become entrepreneurs, offering subsidies of up to ₹2–2.5 crore for setting up factories.
