CM Mohan Yadav : Farmers will be given electricity for 8 to 10 hours per day for irrigation

CM Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the government is committed for the welfare of every section of society. Focused efforts are being made in the state to uplift women, youth, the poor and farmers. Swami Vivekananda’s words 125 years ago, when India was under colonial rule and mired in despair inspired the nation with hope, declaring that the 21st century would belong to India and its Sanatan culture. Today, under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, Swami Vivekananda’s prophecy is becoming a reality as India rises to global prominence. On Swami Vivekananda’s Jayanti, let us pledge to work together for the development of Madhya Pradesh, contributing to the nation’s progress. With collective effort and unity, India will advance, ensuring growth and prosperity for all.

CM Mohan Yadav transferred an amount of Rs 1553 crore to the accounts of 1.27 crore Ladli Bahnas of the state in a programme organised in Kalapipal Tehsil of Shajapur district on Sunday. Along with this, Rs 335 crore was transferred to the accounts of 55 lakh social security pension beneficiaries and the amount given to 26 lakh sisters for cylinder refilling was transferred. CM Dr. Yadav dedicated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 10 crore 11 lakh. Benefits were also distributed to the beneficiaries under various schemes in the programme.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also made several announcements for the development of the area. He announced to make Kalapipal Tehsil a revenue sub-division and Polaykalan sub mandi the main mandi. CM Dr. Yadav announced the construction of 15 rural roads in Kalapipal and changing the names of 11 villages. The village of Nipania Hissamuddin has been renamed as Nipania Dev, Dhabla Hussainpur as Dhabla Ram, Mohammadpur Pawadia as Rampur Pawadia, Khajuri Allahabad as Khajuri Ram, Hajipur as Hirapur, Mohammadpur Machnai as Mohanpur, Reechhidi Moradabad as Reechhidi, Khalilpur (Village Panchayat Silonda) as Rampur, Unchod as Unchavad, Ghatti Mukhtiarpur as Ghatti and Sheikhpur Bongi as Awadhpuri.

CM Mohan Yadav announced the launch of the Yuva Shakti Mission Yojana on Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, aimed at empowering and supporting the youth. He emphasized the government’s commitment to creating employment opportunities, enabling the youth to become self-reliant and capable while securing respectable jobs. The state has set a target to fill 2.7 lakh government posts and generate numerous private-sector employment opportunities. Through initiatives such as the Regional Industry Conclave, roadshows in major cities, the Mining Conclave, and events held in the UK and Germany, the state has secured investment proposals worth Rs 4 lakh crore. Furthering this momentum, the next Regional Industry Conclave is scheduled to take place in Shahdol on January 16.

CM Mohan Yadav said that the government is making continuous efforts for farmers’ welfare besides ensuring continuous electricity and water supply to fields, allowing year-round crop harvesting. He announced that farmers would now receive electricity for irrigation during the day for 8 to 10 hours, eliminating the need for nighttime irrigation. Additionally, 155 villages will be connected to the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project, and the state aims to expand the irrigated area to one crore hectares within the next five years.

CM Mohan Yadav said that the empowerment of women is our priority. In our Sanatan culture, respect for women is supreme. Women will continue to get the benefits of Ladli Behna Yojana and other schemes in the state. The Ladli Behnas will get money every month, Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated every month, not once a year.

CM Mohan Yadav highlighted the government’s commitment to the welfare of the poor, noting that Madhya Pradesh’s per capita income has risen from Rs 7 thousand 500 in 2003-04 to Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand today. He also mentioned that every person in the state now receives 24-hour electricity. Additionally, under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s vision, the government is working to provide concrete houses to every poor family, and the Ujjwala Yojana has ensured gas connections to every household.

CM Mohan Yadav said that our government is committed to good governance. He noted that previously, people had to search for a Patwari to complete tasks, but now services like transfers and partitions are streamlined. Through the Cyber Tehsil scheme, transfers are automated along with registry processes. Additionally, students no longer need to visit offices for documents like mark sheets and transfer certificates, as these are now delivered directly to their mobiles via DigiLocker.

Higher Education Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar said that a mega campaign is underway under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s leadership to implement Prime Minister Shri Modi’s vision, focusing on the empowerment of GYAN (Garib, Yuva, Annadata and Narishakti). Madhya Pradesh is leading this initiative. Regional MLA Shri Ghanshyam Chandravanshi presented several development proposals for the region. The event was attended by public representatives, officials, Ladli Behnas, farmers, and many citizens. Upon arriving in Kalapipal, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received a warm welcome from the local people. The Chief Minister greeted the citizens.

Ancient Teliya Hanuman temple to be developed as a tourist destination

After the programme organized in Kalapipal, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the ancient Teliya Hanuman temple and offered prayers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Shri Hanuman temple will be developed as a tourist destination.
