CM Mohan Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s status as an energy-surplus state with abundant mineral resources, being one of the cleanest states in India, and well-connected to major cities. The state has also adopted industry-friendly policies and, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is experiencing double-digit growth. He invited Japanese industries, particularly those with advanced technology, to invest in the state, assuring them of full support from the state government to help realize their ambitious plans. He also extended an invitation to investors to attend the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal on February 24-25.

CM Mohan Yadav , quoting the famous song “Apne Liye Jiye to Kya Jiye…”, emphasized that entrepreneurship should not be solely for personal profit but should also create jobs and livelihoods for others. He noted that both Japan and India share similar values, where workers are treated with dignity and welfare, rather than being exploited. He encouraged Japanese investors to focus on sustainable resource utilization in Madhya Pradesh, ensuring responsible and ethical practices.

Japan’s Steadfast Support for India

Dr. Yadav acknowledged Japan’s continuous support for India in every crisis, with Japanese business groups that have already invested in India and Madhya Pradesh remaining strong allies. With more than 25 investor-friendly policies, Madhya Pradesh is inviting Japanese industrial groups to invest in the state, offering new incentives, including returns of up to 200% on investment costs.

Madhya Pradesh Welcomes Investors Across Various Sectors

CM Mohan Yadav invited industrialists from Osaka to invest in Madhya Pradesh, noting the state’s establishment of over 300 specialized parks and plug-and-play zones for industries such as food processing, IT, solar equipment, electric vehicles (EV), pharmaceuticals, textiles, and more. The state also offers policies to attract investment in sectors like garments, logistics, tourism, ethanol, farm technology, and medical devices. Additionally, free land is available for establishing medical colleges, and up to 40% subsidies are offered in the tourism sector.

Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Rajesh Rajoura highlighted the state’s vast investment potential in sectors such as tourism, IT, mining, and renewable energy. He pointed out Madhya Pradesh’s key tourism attractions, including cultural, religious, natural, and archaeological sites, such as Sanchi, 24 centuries-old heritage sites, 12 national parks, 9 tiger reserves, and UNESCO heritage sites. He also emphasized the strong potential for investment in the IT/ITES and ESDM sectors, which benefit from a thriving tech ecosystem, government support, skilled workforce, low business risks, and excellent infrastructure, making the state an attractive IT hub.

Mr. Rajoura highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s position as the only state in India with such a diverse range of minerals. The state leads the nation in diamond, copper ore, and manganese production and ranks second in limestone and rock phosphate. Additionally, it holds significant reserves of coal, bauxite, and graphite, making it a prime location for mineral-based industries. Regarding renewable energy, Mr. Rajoura pointed out the remarkable growth of the sector, from 491 MW in 2012 to 6,418 MW in 2024. CM Mohan Yadav invited Sysmex to consider establishing a manufacturing unit for medical diagnostic equipment in Madhya Pradesh, as well as setting up a research and development center to foster innovation in the healthcare sector.

During the visit to Sysmex’s manufacturing and research center, CM Mohan Yadav observed the company’s cutting-edge medical device manufacturing technology.
