CM Mohan Yadav : Every Beneficiary Must Avail Government Schemes
CM Mohan Yadav reaffirmed that public welfare remains the government’s top priority and ultimate objective. He emphasized that the administration is actively working towards this goal through various schemes and urged officials to ensure that every eligible citizen receives government benefits. Highlighting the importance of public participation in the state’s development, he issued these directives during a review meeting on beneficiary-oriented schemes at the Mantralaya on Tuesday. CM Mohan Yadav stressed the need for immediate assistance to all deserving beneficiaries based on their eligibility.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Home Shri J.N. Kansotia, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Shri Anupam Rajan, along with other Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and senior officials from various departments.
CM Mohan Yadav instructed officials to ensure that financial year targets are met on time, emphasizing daily monitoring of scheme implementation to prevent any eligible beneficiary from being left out. He urged all departments to conduct regular reviews to guarantee timely and effective delivery of benefits without obstacles or delays.
Stressing the significance of beneficiary-oriented schemes as a foundation of trust between the government and the public,CM Mohan Yadav highlighted that their proper execution reflects the administration’s commitment and sensitivity. He directed officials to accelerate the completion of schemes aimed at full saturation and, for bank-financed schemes, to submit a significantly higher number of beneficiary cases than the set targets before the deadline to maximize reach.
Looking ahead, CM Mohan Yadav instructed departmental officers to allocate financial provisions for beneficiary-oriented schemes in the 2025-26 financial year equal to or exceeding the 2024-25 budget. He asserted that development can only be achieved through the effective and transparent implementation of public welfare initiatives. He further emphasized that government schemes symbolize mutual trust between the administration and the people and called for 100 percent implementation to enhance public confidence. According to him, this approach embodies good governance and the essence of a welfare state.
During the meeting, officials from various departments provided updates on their respective beneficiary-oriented schemes and detailed ongoing efforts to achieve their objectives.
