CM Mohan Yadav distributes e-scooters to outstanding students, benefiting 7,900 talented individuals across the state.

Drawing inspiration from historical figures like Lord Shri Ram, Lord Shri Krishna, Emperor Vikramaditya, and Panna Dhai, CM Mohan Yadav highlighted how their unwavering commitment to moral values, combined with exceptional capabilities, made them iconic. He also cited Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s courage in challenging the British Empire, urging students to approach difficulties with patience and resilience. He encouraged students not only to pursue jobs in government or private sectors but also to take on leadership roles in society and contribute to education. Referring to Japan’s entrepreneurial culture, he advocated for youth to become job creators rather than job seekers, assuring full government support for those aspiring to establish industries.
Chief Minister Encourages Students by Riding Scooties with Them
At the event, CM Mohan Yadav symbolically handed over e-scooty keys to 10 top-performing students and joined them in riding scooties as a gesture of encouragement. Under this initiative, 7,900 outstanding students from government schools across Madhya Pradesh will receive free e-scooties as a reward for academic excellence in the Class 12 board exams conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education.
The Chief Minister personally presented e-scooty keys to students including Aditya Rathore, Prashant Rajput, Siddharth Sahu, Rafat Khan, Aryan Rajput, Akash Kushwaha, Babli Meena, Palak Singh, Usha Meena, and Saloni Dangi, wishing them a successful future.
Families’ Dreams of Sending Children to College on Scooters Fulfilled
Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah praised the initiative, stating that providing scooties to meritorious students has turned a long-standing dream of many families into reality. He highlighted that this effort will not only motivate students academically but also ease their journey in higher education.
Government Schools Equipped with Modern Educational Resources
School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh emphasized the state government’s commitment to providing quality education. He highlighted advancements in government schools, including digital and smart classrooms, vocational training, career guidance, and motivational sessions. He urged students to pursue their goals with determination and dedication, leveraging government support for their success.
Under the Mukhyamantri e-Scooty Yojana, implemented by the School Education Department, free e-scooties were distributed to top-ranking students from government higher secondary schools across the state. Each school’s highest-scoring Class 12 student was eligible to receive the award, recognizing their academic excellence.
Students Express Joy on Receiving E-Scooties
During the state-level distribution event, students were thrilled to receive their e-scooties from CM Mohan Yadav. He interacted with them, discussing their future aspirations and career plans. The initiative has brought immense joy and motivation to many students.
Harshnand Mehar, a student from Bhopal who scored 87% in the Class 12 board exams, shared how government schemes are creating new opportunities for students like him. Coming from a middle-class background, he is now pursuing engineering.
Similarly, Sania Jahan from Barkheda CM Rise School, Bhopal, received an e-scooty for her outstanding performance and expressed her ambition to become a teacher. Babli Meena from Shivaji Nagar Subhash School of Excellence, who scored over 95%, stated that the scooty has significantly boosted her confidence and will help her commute to college. Her mother, an Anganwadi worker, was overjoyed with her daughter’s achievement.
Aditya Gaur, who scored over 97% and secured admission to the Regional Institute of Education in Bhopal, also received an e-scooty. Aspiring to become a mathematics teacher, he believes the scheme will greatly support students in their higher education journey.
