CM Mohan Yadav has emphasized the need for the conservation and restoration of the state’s water resources. He stated that the rivers, lakes, and other water sources of the state are the foundation of life, and both the government and society must remain vigilant to protect, rejuvenate, and manage them effectively.
To achieve this objective, a three-month Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign is being launched in the state. This state-level campaign will be conducted from March 30 to June 30, and every possible effort must be made to ensure its success. The Chief Minister also directed that essential facilities be provided for devotees in temple premises situated in prominent religious centers and villages.
Preparations for Upcoming Festivals and Law & Order Maintenance
CM Mohan Yadav also instructed administrative and police officers to ensure law and order during the upcoming festivals. He noted that March 30 will witness celebrations for Gudi Padwa, Cheti Chand, and the Hindu New Year (Vikram Samvat 2082), while Chaitra Navratri will also begin. Additionally, Eid will be observed on March 31.
To maintain harmony during these festivals, the administration must remain alert and proactive. He also directed officials to regulate the use of loudspeakers in areas where student examinations were ongoing, ensuring compliance with prescribed noise level standards.
During the conference, CM Mohan Yadav discussed the significance of Vikram Samvat, Vedic mathematics, and the ancient Indian method of timekeeping. He highlighted the need to promote traditional Indian knowledge systems and integrate them into modern education.
