Development projects were reviewed in the Pratishthan Managing Committee meeting, chaired by CM Mohan Yadav.
CM Mohan Yadav chaired the Managing Committee meeting of Tulsi Manas Pratishthan at Manas Bhawan on Wednesday. During the session, he proposed expanding the institution’s activities and instructed officials to implement the plan.
CM Mohan Yadav emphasized the promotion of the Ramayana, Tulsi literature, and Indian culture, suggesting special programs at religious sites like Chitrakoot to engage youth and scholars. The meeting was attended by Executive Committee Working President Shri Raghunandan Sharma, Convenor Shri Rajendra Sharma, Treasurer Shri Vijay Agarwal, Senior Members Shri Suresh Pachauri and Shri Kailash Joshi, Committee Member and Collector Bhopal Shri Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, along with other officials and committee members.
Discussing future plans, the Chief Minister stressed the need to involve diverse sections of society in strengthening spiritual and cultural awareness. He proposed making the Ramayana and Tulsi literature accessible through online platforms and directed the preparation of an action plan for upcoming events. Various suggestions were discussed to enhance the effectiveness of Pratishthan’s activities. Working President Shri Sharma requested the widening of the road in front of Manas Bhawan and the removal of illegal structures in the vicinity, to which CM Mohan Yadav instructed the Collector to take necessary action.
CM Mohan Yadav informed the committee about the government’s serious consideration of liquor prohibition in the state and announced plans for the construction of a ‘Gita Bhawan’ to promote the teachings of the Gita and Indian culture. He also shared initiatives to develop Mahakal city, Ujjain, with arrangements similar to Haridwar, permitting sadhus, saints, akharas, and dharamshalas to build permanent structures in the Simhastha fair area. The Collector further revealed plans for a Gita Bhawan in Bhopal on an acre of land near TT Nagar on Smart City Road.
