CM Mohan Yadav has directed that all eligible beneficiaries from the tribal community must be provided with permanent housing. No beneficiary should be left without a home under any circumstances. Those who were previously left out should be included in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana, ensuring that every deserving individual receives a pucca house.
CM Mohan Yadav was addressing a review meeting of the Dharati Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan at Samta Bhavan (CM Residence) on Wednesday. He instructed all concerned department officials to complete the selection of villages and beneficiaries under the campaign and implement development projects as per the prescribed guidelines and criteria.
CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that this campaign is a significant step towards the holistic development of the tribal community. Its effective implementation will expand basic facilities in rural areas. He directed officials to prioritize projects related to health, education, employment, and infrastructure development.

CM Mohan Yadav reiterated that this campaign is aimed at ensuring the benefits of welfare schemes reach every tribal household, and the government is fully committed to the holistic development of tribal communities.
CM Mohan Yadav reviewed the initial progress of the Dharati Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan and the development proposals submitted to the central government. He emphasized accelerating development work in tribal villages, hamlets, and settlements through a concrete strategy. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to ensuring that all tribal beneficiaries receive the benefits of government schemes.
CM Mohan Yadav directed that sustainable farming be promoted in tribal villages. He suggested Soil testing to guide farmers on the most profitable crops. He suggested to organize seminars on eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture and to affirm providing High Milk-Yielding cows to combat malnutrition among tribal children and mothers.
Additionally, he ordered a comprehensive survey in 89 tribal development blocks to ensure that every eligible family gets a permanent house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by March 31, 2025.
Boosting Traditional Products and E-Commerce Integration
To support tribal culture and livelihoods, CM Mohan Yadav proposed Community halls in villages for cultural events like bhajans and kirtans. Government procurement of millets (ragi, kodo, kutki) from 11,377 tribal villages. Special markets for millets to ensure fair prices and eliminate middlemen. E-commerce platforms to promote and sell traditional tribal products worldwide.
Expanding Fisheries and Export Opportunities
Recognizing the potential of fisheries, CM Mohan Yadav instructed Private sector participation in setting up local hatcheries, Export expansion of fish production, and encouragement of animal husbandry in areas unsuitable for farming.
Health and Nutrition Initiatives
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stressed better healthcare for tribal communities, including Identifying and treating sickle cell anemia patients, Setting up bone marrow transplant facilities in Jabalpur and Shahdol, and Establishing nutrition gardens in Balaghat and Mandla districts under the National AYUSH Mission.
Infrastructure Development in Remote Tribal Areas
To enhance basic amenities,CM Mohan Yadav directed Electrification of remote hamlets through solar pumps and rural electrification schemes, and 1428 villages across 42 districts to benefit from piped water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission.
Employment and Education for Tribal Youth
CM Mohan Yadav highlighted 92 CM Rise Schools, out of which 39 are complete, 50 new hostels in 20 districts under the PM Jan-Man Yojana, 50% reserved for girls, Skill development initiatives in 89 tribal blocks, including 34 new ITI hostels, Cultural value-based education through collaborations with Anand Vibhag, Gayatri Parivar, and Vidya Bharati.
Ensuring Full Implementation of Housing Schemes
Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain instructed officials to Reassess 2,07,922 approved houses under PMAY-Gramin, Verify if beneficiaries of the Jan-Kalyan Parv (till Jan 26) are included, and Deploy special teams to tribal and aspirational districts for surveys.
Officials reported that 96,000 beneficiaries have already received the first installment for house construction.
The state government remains fully committed to holistic tribal development, ensuring every tribal family benefits from welfare initiatives.
