CM Mohan Yadav reaffirmed Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to leading India’s development, emphasizing its crucial role in making the country the world’s third-largest economy. Highlighting the state’s vision of progressing “from heritage to development,” he announced plans to double the annual budget within five years without introducing new taxes. Instead, the focus will be on increasing public income to enhance state revenue.
Speaking at a civic felicitation ceremony organized by the Bhopal Utsav Mela Committee, CM Mohan Yadav assured that Bhopal’s rich natural and historical heritage would be preserved and further developed. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people.
Bhopal’s Transformation into a Metropolitan City
CM Mohan Yadav outlined ambitious plans to elevate Bhopal into a thriving metropolitan city. Key entry points will feature grand gateways, including ‘Bhoj Dwar’ on Bhojpur Road and ‘Vikram Dwar’ on the Indore-Ujjain route, symbolizing Samrat Vikramaditya’s legacy of good governance.
Dr. Yadav also praised the success of the Global Investors Summit (GIS), which drew industrialists from around the world to Bhopal. He highlighted the city’s lakes, cultural vibrancy, and unique ecosystem, where humans and tigers coexist in the nearby Ratapani Sanctuary.
Reaffirming his commitment to Bhopal’s growth, he assured ongoing efforts to enhance the city’s beauty while preserving its historical essence.
Recognition for Leadership
The Bhopal Utsav Mela Committee honored CM Mohan Yadav for successfully hosting the GIS. More than 35 business associations, industrialists, and social leaders extended congratulations and birthday wishes to him during the Holi Milan ceremony, presenting an appreciation certificate in recognition of his leadership.
CM Mohan Yadav concluded by emphasizing the power of collective effort in driving the state’s progress. “We will accomplish what has never been done before,” he declared.
The event saw the presence of senior politician Shri Raghunandan Sharma, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, Shri Ravindra Yati, Bhopal Utsav Mela Committee President Shri Manmohan Agrawal, DB Group Chairman Shri Sudhir Agrawal, and other prominent business and industrial leaders.
