CM Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being conducted to honour the valour of the Indian Army. As part of this campaign, he expressed his happiness in participating in the grand, patriotic Tiranga Yatra held in Gwalior, the land of brave sons, martyrs, and freedom fighters. He added that it is a matter of great pride that, under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has courageously eliminated terrorists in Pakistan and destroyed their aircraft and weapons.
In the historic city of Gwalior, a massive Tiranga Yatra commenced from Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Square on Monday under the leadership of CM Mohan Yadav . Riding in an open vehicle, CM Mohan Yadav joined the procession alongside Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Horticulture and Social Justice Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Shri Jaiprakash Rajoria, and other public representatives. A large number of dignitaries and citizens enthusiastically participated in the event.
At the launch of the Tiranga Yatra, CM Mohan Yadav said that the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being carried out across the country. In Madhya Pradesh, Independence Day is being celebrated in every region through rallies, paying tribute to the Indian Army’s achievements in Operation Sindoor. He congratulated the people of Gwalior for celebrating the campaign with such grandeur, noting that the strength displayed by the Army under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is truly remarkable. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his happiness that the Tiranga Yatra in Gwalior is being held in honour of the Army’s valour, alongside a programme dedicated to the ideas of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya, the pioneer of integral humanism.
Chief Minister Showers Flowers on Children Dressed as Great Leaders
Before the start of the Tiranga Yatra, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav showered flowers on children dressed as great leaders during the programme at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Square, encouraging them with warm words. The Tiranga Yatra proceeded from Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Square to Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University via City Center, Patel Nagar, Gandhi Road, and Akashvani Tiraha. A large contingent also moved towards Baradari Murar via Akashvani Tiraha, Thathipur, Kumharpura, and Shaheed Gate. Along the route, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav showered flowers on people, and participants gathered to honour the Tiranga Yatra.
Entire route of the Yatra was adorned with the tricolour
Bikers, army and police personnel, all wings of the NCC, ex-servicemen, students, persons with disabilities, public representatives, and members of various government, social, and voluntary organisations participated, proudly carrying the Tricolour — a symbol of India’s pride and glory. Throughout the procession, stages set up at various points echoed with patriotic songs, while colourful cultural performances stirred the spirit of nationalism among the crowds. Rangolis made of colours and flowers decorated the route, while children and artists dressed as immortal martyrs brought alive the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom and protection. The performances of differently-abled bikers and the SAF Second Corps Band, both carrying the Tricolour, were among the main highlights of the event.

Divisional Commissioner Shri Manoj Khatri, Inspector General of Police Shri Arvind Saxena, and Deputy Inspector General of Police Shri Amit Sanghi also took part in the Tiranga Yatra. Joining them was Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan, Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Dharamveer Singh, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Shri Vivek Kumar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Sangh Priya, and Additional Collector Shri Kumar Satyam. Senior officers of the district administration and police also participated, riding scooters and bikes while proudly holding the Tricolour.
