CM Mohan Yadav has said that Independence Day is not just a celebration, but a symbol of our national identity, pride and honour. It is a moment to remember sacrifices, dedication and contributions of our freedom fighters and to draw inspiration from the path they showed us.
CM Dr. Yadav was addressing a high-level review meeting on Wednesday regarding the preparations for Independence Day celebration–2025. It was decided in the meeting that the Chief Minister’s message to people of the state will be broadcast live during the district-level Independence Day programmes across all districts.
CM Mohan Yadav said that after live broadcast of his message, chief guest of the district-level event will inform public about flagship schemes being implemented in the district, development programmes, investment received, progress in agriculture and irrigation and other notable initiatives.
CM Mohan Yadav directed senior officials to ensure that the state and district-level Independence Day celebrations are conducted with full He emphasized organizing cultural programmes to instill patriotism, especially among the youth.
CM Mohan Yadav reviewed preparations related to seating arrangements, security and traffic management at the state-level event venue. He instructed that special facilities be provided for freedom fighters, differently-abled individuals, senior citizens and women during the ceremony.
He appealed to all citizens of the state to participate in the Independence Day celebrations and spread the message of patriotism.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Public Health & Medical Education Shri Rajendra Shukla, Urban Development & Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Panchayat & Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, School Education & Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary to CM Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, and Secretary & Commissioner of Public Relations Dr. Sudam Khade, along with other officials.
Ministers also presented suggestions on suitable innovations to enhance the dignity of the state and district-level celebrations. Officials gave a detailed account of the comprehensive preparations underway for the successful execution of the event.
