CM Mohan Yadav will visit Japan to attract investment in the state
CM Mohan Yadav announced that the next Cabinet meeting, dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar’s 300th birth anniversary, will be held on January 24 in Maheshwar. He also ordered exemptions in motor vehicle taxes for the Gwalior Fair and Vikramotsav Ujjain. While congratulating the Swami Vivekanand Yuva Shakti Mission, inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s focus on knowledge and empowerment of the poor, youth, farmers and women, he affirmed the upcoming implementation of the Garib Kalyan Mission in the state. CM Mohan Yadav was addressing the ministers before the meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday.
CM Mohan Yadav informed that the next Regional Industry Conclave will be held in Shahdol to promote industrial activities and investment in the state. Japan will participate as a country partner in the Global Investor Summit scheduled in Bhopal on February 24-25. Additionally, the Chief Minister’s visit to Japan from January 27 to February 1 is planned to attract investment to the state.
Special policy in the offing for urban gas distribution
CM Mohan Yadav said that 11 departments have been told to finalize their investment policies in preparation for the Global Investor Summit, with 21 policies currently under development. Key initiatives include the Madhya Pradesh Investment Promotion Policy 2025, MP Logistics Policy, and Madhya Pradesh Export Promotion and ODOP Policy 2025 under the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department (MSME) Department is working on the MSME Development Policy 2025, MP MSME Land Development Allotment Policy 2025, and MP Startup Policy. Renewable energy policies include the MP Pump Hydrostorage Policy 2025, Madhya Pradesh Biofuel Promotion Policy 2025, and MP Urban Gas Distribution Policy 2024, all of which are expected to be finalized before the summit.
Decisions will be taken quickly through policies on semiconductors, drone promotion, film tourism
CM Mohan Yadav informed that the MP Global Capability Center Policy-2025, MP AVGS-XR Policy-2024, Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy-2025, and MP Drone Promotion Policy-2025 under the Department of Science and Technology, Madhya Pradesh Aviation Policy-2025 under the Aviation Department, Madhya Pradesh Tree Plantation Policy-2025 using CSR/CER and non-governmental policies under the Forest Department, Land Pool Policy-2025 under Urban Housing and Development and Public Works Department, Construction and Operation Policy-2025 on PPP mode of Medical Colleges along with Augmented Hospitals under the Public Health and Medical Education Department, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Investment Policy-2025 and Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy-2025 under the Tourism Department, Operation and Maintenance Policy-2025 on PPP mode of Pressurized Pipe Irrigation System under Water Resources and Narmada Valley Development Department are being prepared on priority. This will help in quick decision-making on investment proposals at the time of Global Investor Summit.
