He appreciated the commendable performances delivered by the participating artists. Such artistic representations also help convey the significance of places in Madhya Pradesh associated with the life of Lord Shrikrishna.
CM Mohan Yadav watched the ‘Krishnayan’ performance this evening at the Manasrovar Auditorium in the Vidhan Sabha premises. The musical showcased the complete life story of Lord Krishna through a vibrant audio-visual and musical presentation. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced an incentive of Rs. 1.11 lakh for the performers.
CM Mohan Yadav remarked that Lord Shrikrishna received his education at Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain, had marital ties at Amzhera, shared a deep friendship with Sudama at Narayana Dham, and received the Sudarshan Chakra at Janapav—all episodes of popular public interest. He praised Krishnayan for creatively presenting these diverse aspects of Shrikrishna’s life through instruments, sound, light, and fireworks. He also felicitated the artists involved in the production.
Madhya Pradesh Can Become the ‘Second Vrindavan’: Speaker Shri Tomar
On the occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that Lord Shrikrishna shares a profound connection with Madhya Pradesh, and if that connection is widely shared with the public, the state has the potential to become the “second Vrindavan.” He congratulated all the performers for their beautiful presentation combining devotional songs and dramatic storytelling.
The event was attended by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, MLA Betul Shri Hemant Khandelwal, Leader of Opposition Shri Umang Singhar, along with several ministers, MLAs, officers and staff members.
