CM Mohan Yadav said that journalism is a challenging path, and one attains success in this field — and the role of an editor — only after overcoming many struggles. If a serious illness like cancer strikes during this already difficult journey, even medical science sometimes proves powerless despite all efforts. Late journalist Shri Jagdeep Singh Bais made a significant contribution to journalism in Madhya Pradesh. From Jabalpur to Bhopal, he worked with various newspapers and channels before becoming the editor of Dainik Naya India. He had been battling a serious illness for the past year. His untimely demise is a deep loss to his family, friends, and the journalism fraternity.
