CM Mohan Yadav : Madhya Pradesh is a State of Opportunities for Industrial Activities and Investments

CM Mohan Yadav has invited industrial groups to participate in the GIS event in Bhopal on February 24-25, which will be attended by Prime Minister Shri Modi.

CM Mohan Yadav invited industrial groups and investors to the “Global Investors Summit” in Bhopal on February 24 and 25, which will be attended by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. CM Mohan Yadav made this invitation while addressing leading industrial representatives and investors during an interactive session in Pune.

CM Mohan Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh offers abundant opportunities for industrial activities and investments. The state has declared 2025 as the Year of Industry and Employment. Efforts are being focused on investment-friendly policies, top-tier infrastructure, and the availability of skilled human resources to accelerate industrial growth and enhance the state’s economic progress and prosperity.

Madhya Pradesh, known for its natural beauty, religious landmarks, and world-class infrastructure, is becoming an appealing destination for investors. Indore, the state’s business hub, has also earned the title of cleanliness capital. Pithampur and Mandideep have emerged as significant industrial centers, not just for the state but for the entire country.

The state has introduced streamlined and attractive policies for sectors such as education, health, mining, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and IT. To encourage investment across different regions, interactive sessions with industrial groups and investors are being held in cities nationwide, with the session in Pune being part of this ongoing effort. CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The government is prioritizing “Ease of Doing Business.”

CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that industries in Madhya Pradesh do not face issues like labor problems or other obstacles. The people of the state have a unique ability to focus fully on their work. The concept of Ease of Doing Business is deeply ingrained in both the government and society. Thanks to IT advancements, managing industries in Madhya Pradesh has become simpler and more efficient in today’s era.

CM Mohan Yadav expressed confidence that the upcoming Global Investors Summit, which will be attended by Prime Minister Shri Modi, will further strengthen the bond between industrial groups and Madhya Pradesh. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India is on track to become the world’s third-largest economy.

Industrialists play a vital role in driving the country’s economic growth. Just as a soldier defends the nation at its borders, an industrialist contributes to making the country strong, prosperous, and powerful through expert management. Industrial groups are also a key source of employment.

Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra Share a Deep Historical Bond

CM Mohan Yadav mentioned that Madhya Pradesh has a strong emotional connection with Maharashtra, noting that the climate of Pune is similar to that of Madhya Pradesh. He also pointed out that all the sacred sites of Malwa are linked to Maharashtra. Referring to historical figures such as Chhatrapati Shivaji, the Scindias, the Holkars, and the Peshwas, Dr. Yadav highlighted their exemplary governance, courage, skill development, and the religious contributions of Lokmata Ahilya Devi. Her leadership over five districts set a standard for good governance in the country.

Welcoming Industries to Madhya Pradesh

CM Mohan Yadav expressed that Madhya Pradesh welcomes industries from other states and countries with the spirit of “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah” (May all be happy, may all be healthy). He hoped the session would act as a catalyst for shaping the state’s industrial future and boosting economic growth.

Hiroshi Yoshizawa of Bridgestone Commends Madhya Pradesh

Mr. Hiroshi Yoshizawa, Managing Director of Bridgestone India Private Limited, shared his insights and recommendations during the session. He praised Madhya Pradesh’s strategic geographical location, the skills and commitment of its people, their cooperative nature, and the state government’s supportive policies, all of which make it an attractive destination for investment.

CM Mohan Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s deep emotional bond with Maharashtra, noting the similarity in the climate between Pune and Madhya Pradesh, and the religious connections between Malwa and Maharashtra. He also praised Lokmata Ahilya Devi’s exemplary governance, emphasizing her contributions to good governance.

Mr. Sudhir Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director of Pinnacle Industries Limited in Pithampur, shared his business insights during the Invest MP Interactive Session in Pune. He emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is an ideal investment destination, offering all the necessary facilities for investors from around the world. Reflecting on the state’s development, he noted its transformation from being labeled a “BIMARU” state to a developed one. The state’s “Ease of Doing Business” and “Ease of Living” policies make it an attractive place for investment. Madhya Pradesh also benefits from excellent law and order, ensuring safety for travel at all times. It offers a stable environment, skilled workforce, and an efficient administration that is responsive to the needs of investors.

Senior Officials Highlight Madhya Pradesh’s Strengths

Mr. Raghavendra Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy, Investment Promotion, and MSME Department, discussed the advantages of investing in Madhya Pradesh and the opportunities available. Mr. Sanjay Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary of Science and Technology, outlined the policies and projects in the IT, ITES, and ESDM sectors. Ms. Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director of the Tourism Department, provided insights into investment prospects in tourism. A short film titled “Developed India – Developed Madhya Pradesh” was also showcased at the event.
