CM Mohan Yadav : The state extends a heartfelt welcome to northeast students during the inter-state student life vision tour.

CM Mohan Yadav, while addressing students from northeastern states participating in the Bharat Ekta Yatra, emphasized that Madhya Pradesh represents the unity and integrity of the nation, not only in terms of geography but also through its cultural richness. He highlighted the state’s diverse cultural heritage and patriotic spirit, urging the students to honor India’s diversity and adopt its cultural values. CM Mohan Yadav pointed out that Madhya Pradesh is known for its distinct diversity, where people from various regions, communities, and languages coexist in harmony. The state, he noted, preserves the nation’s glorious history and culture, upholding patriotism, national defense, and honor.

The northeastern student group, participating in the Rashtriya Ekatma Yatra-2025, organized by Student Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL) for cultural exchange, received a warm welcome in Madhya Pradesh. The yatra, which started on January 22 and runs until February 13, is taking students from northeastern states on a tour across India.

The students are visiting Madhya Pradesh from February 1 to 5. On Monday, they met Chief Minister Dr. Yadav at his residence. During their interaction,CM Mohan Yadav listened to their experiences, answered their questions, and introduced them to Madhya Pradesh’s rich and peaceful culture. He welcomed them to Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India, and wished them a memorable stay. He also spoke about Bhopal’s famous lakes and natural beauty, mentioning that it’s unique because tigers can sometimes be spotted near roadsides at night, thanks to the Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary. CM Mohan Yadav encouraged the students to explore attractions like the Tribal Museum, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Van Vihar National Park, and other notable tourist spots.

After a group photo with the Chief Minister, the students described the visit as an unforgettable experience. They shared that meeting a state’s Chief Minister for the first time was a memorable moment and expressed their admiration for the state’s rich culture, historical landmarks, and warm hospitality.

The Inter-State Chhaatra Darshan Jeevan Yatra aims to strengthen the unity and integrity of the nation by introducing young people to India’s diverse culture. The Rashtriya Ekta Yatra is a key initiative that seeks to unite Indian youth, promoting mutual understanding and brotherhood. The group consists of 30 participants, including 28 students and 2 coordinators, from states such as Assam, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya.

As a gesture of goodwill,CM Mohan Yadav presented a shawl, Madhya Pradesh Government diary, calendar, and a special gift to the students and coordinators. Shri Shivam Jat, Shri Chetas Sukhadia, Shri Rohit Dubey, Shri Deepak Paliwal, Shri Kaman Siboh, Shri Rahul Mog, along with other students and citizens, were present at the event.
