CM Mohan Yadav presented a cheque of one crore rupees under the personal accident insurance scheme to the family of the martyr police sub-inspector Ramcharan Gautam, at the CM residence on Thursday. This amount was provided to the family under the personal accident insurance benefit available to police personnel under the Indian State Bank’s Police Salary Package Scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has instructed the Director General of Police to recruit a qualified family member of Martyr Gautam into government service.
On this occasion, CM Mohan Yadav, while presenting the check to the wife of Martyr Gautam, Smt. Pushpa, said that the state government has accorded the martyr status to the late Gautam and sanctioned a financial assistance of one crore rupees for his dependents.
Martyr Police Sub-Inspector Gautam, while performing his duties, was martyred this month in village Gadra, district Mauganj. On the occasion of handing over the insurance grant check to the family of the late Gautam, Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana, CGM SBI M.P./Chhattisgarh Shri Chandrashekhar Sharma, General Manager Shri Ajitabh Parashar, General Manager Shri Kundan Jyoti, General Manager Shri Manoj Kumar, along with senior officials of the Indian State Bank were present.
CM Mohan Yadav also spoke with Smt. Pushpa, the late Gautam’s wife, and his son Shri Dhirendra and nephew Shri Satish, who were present on the occasion. Dr. Yadav remarked that although the law has taken its course, the state government will provide full support to the family of late Ramcharan Gautam.
