CM Mohan Yadav assured farmers in Madhya Pradesh that the state government will ensure they do not suffer any losses.
CM Mohan Yadav visited Khadi village in Polaykalan Tehsil, Shajapur district, on Thursday to assess the damage in the soybean crop caused by various factors and directed a statewide survey of all affected fields. CM Dr. Yadav instructed the Shajapur Collector and all district collectors to conduct this survey. Also present were Minister for Farmer Welfare and Agricultural Development Shri Edal Singh Kansana, MLA Shri Ghanshyam Chandravanshi, Shri Arun Bhimavad, Zilla Panchayat Chairman Shri Hemraj Singh Sisodia and Dr. Ravi Pandey. At a farmers’ gathering, CM Dr. Yadav stated that all losses caused by insufficient rainfall and pest attacks will be thoroughly surveyed, and farmers will be fully compensated. He emphasised that central and state governments are continuously working to improve farmers’ livelihoods.
CM Dr. Yadav instructed the Shajapur Collector to resolve pending insurance claims from previous years. He also said that in the future, farmers in Shajapur will receive water through the Narmada-Parvati-Chambal-Kalisindh Link Project, which will significantly improve the lives of poor farmers.
CM Dr. Yadav Spotlights Kamdhenu Scheme to Promote ‘Gaupalan’ of Indigenous species. Under this initiative, the government will purchase cow milk from farmers.
For rearing 25 cows, the government provides a ₹10 lakh subsidy on an investment of ₹40 lakh. Gaushalas will be established in rural areas with a subsidy of ₹40 per cow for maintenance. Gaushalas housing over 5,000 animals will also be provided with land. He directed the Forest Department to ensure proper management of roaming wildlife such as deer and nilgai. The CM emphasised that farmers should harvest crops without worry and prosper.
CM Dr. Yadav explained that under the ‘Ek Bagia Maa Ke Naam’ scheme, farmers planting orchards on one acre of land will receive ₹2 lakh in the first year and ₹55,000 annually for the next two years, providing support for three years.
Promoting Cotton Production and PM Mitra Industrial Park
CM Dr. Yadav stated that cotton production will be promoted in the state. PM Mitra Industrial Park in Badnawar, Dhar District, to Have Bhoomi Poojan Performed by PM Shri Narendra Modi on September 17. The park aims to transform the lives of cotton-growing farmers in Dhar and the Malwa-Nimar region.

The CM personally visited farmer Parvat Singh Bagana in Khadi village to assess the loss caused to his soybean crop and gain firsthand insights into the damage.
