CM Mohan Yadav held one-on-one meetings with senior officials of leading global companies, discussing new opportunities for investment, technological collaboration and job creation in Madhya Pradesh, on the third day of his visit to Barcelona. CM Dr. Yadav first met with Shri Pau Abelló, Director of Corporate Operations at Spain’s leading sanitaryware company ‘Roca Group’. He expressed satisfaction over the company’s Rs. 164.03 crore investment through its unit Roca Bathroom Products Pvt. Ltd. in Dewas, which has already generated employment for 445 people. Roca also shared plans for expanding and diversifying its operations in Madhya Pradesh.
In a meeting with Shri Alejandro Gallego Alcaide, Director of AMEC (Association Multisectorial de AMEC), an agreement was reached for cooperation in global branding of the state, media analytics, AI-driven communication strategies and strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s global identity on international platforms.
During the visit, companies from diverse sectors such as sanitaryware, textiles, healthcare, data centers, animation, branding and media policy showed serious interest in Madhya Pradesh and explored future collaborations. CM Dr. Yadav also held a meeting with Shri Jordi Bonaro Triolart, Owner and CEO of ‘Helotex Group’, a prominent textile company already partnering with Indore-based ‘Pratibha Syntex Ltd.’ Discussions focused on expanding the textile sector and simplifying investment procedures.
In a meeting with Shri Siddharth Tiwari, Co-founder of ‘Sportsfun TV S.L.’, opportunities were explored to develop football in Madhya Pradesh through talent scouting, training camps and the establishment of academies. Shri Tiwari mentioned that his company is already working with the Government of Jharkhand in this direction and is keen to initiate similar efforts in Madhya Pradesh.
Discussions were held with Shri Geoff Wisep, representative of SSL Coatings (Power Soil), on adopting the sustainable road-building technology “TERRA-3000”, which is particularly suitable for rural roads, foundations, and compact soils. This innovation eliminates the need for traditional construction materials and ensures environmental protection.
In a meeting with Shri Satish Raisinghani of the SOGO Group, expansion plans for SOGO’s home appliances and electronics products in India, particularly in Madhya Pradesh, were discussed. SOGO is a strong European brand aiming to cater to Indian consumers.
During talks with Shri Mark Winter, CEO of ‘Servitize’, discussions focused on industrial consulting, digital transformation and customer experience-based solutions. The company specialises in boosting enterprise efficiency through service-based business models and expressed interest in integrating smart models into the MSME sector of Madhya Pradesh. CM Dr. Yadav also held a fruitful discussion with investors from ‘Norsec Global’.
CM Dr. Yadav’s visit has clearly positioned Madhya Pradesh as a promising and trustworthy destination for international investors. The wide-ranging discussions across sectors are expected to accelerate economic development in the state while fostering technological innovation and creating new employment opportunities.
CM Dr. Yadav, highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies, detailed the availability of essential industrial resources like land, water, energy and robust infrastructure. He also emphasised the state’s excellent logistic connectivity, skilled human resources, streamlined & transparent administrative processes and notable achievements in ‘Ease of Doing Business’.
The Chief Minister affirmed that Madhya Pradesh is a safe, stable, and capable state for investment, offering a strong platform for long-term partnerships with global companies.
